No matter what people could say about Elvis, true or not, Priscilla has always maintained positive memories, respect and dedication to him. This tells you for the most part, he was good to her and Lisa. If he was a terrible person behind the scenes she would not be such a great ambassador to his memory, to this day in 2022.

Now emotional abuse/that we know comes w/his infidelity, + that plays havoc w/mental abuse, it 'can' , (not always), go hand in hand. Priscilla herself, seems emotionally strong, and independent. Her voice is as beautiful as her face - and that is really saying something! It's clear and silvery as a tinkling bell or wind chime. And her elocution has such a natural refinement and regality. Elvis & her saw them as "FRIENDS". Her patience may have wore down on all negativity being written about him. And decided it was time for a truthful book of good memories about him. To all the hateful comments regarding her plastic surgery. As a stunningly beautiful woman it’s extremely difficult to age, because you’re so used to being admired constantly of your beauty. Therefore you go to extremes trying to maintain that aura. Average and unattractive women have a much easier time aging imo because they’re not constantly admired and complimented. Science shows that beauty gets you so much more in life.

One of the members of the Memphis Mafia said Elvis liked women who weren't too wise, ambitious or intelligent, but Priscilla has always come across as being intelligent. I think her youth and naïveté appealed to Elvis, so much so that he chose her over Ann-Margret, who was very intelligent, ambitious and crafty. Elvis met his match in her and while he found that attractive, he had certain ideas about what a wife and mother should be and Ann-Margret didn't fit that mold. The Colonel probably also steered him toward Priscilla because he knew Ann-Margret would be a handful and she might catch on to his nefarious ways.

@Frederique..... Well they WERE married in 1967--- 1977, Correct? From 16 yrs of age Elvis "groomed" her to look the way she did, (hair 'color' & 'style', makeup, clothes, manners, speach). IDK his motive,---perhaps he was trying to make her look closer to his age, (26 yrs. old @ the time). So perhaps by the 70' s, she realized it was OK to have her own opinion, and her opinion did matter. So a bit of that independance started to shine through...

who believes anything that West said. this was the man that betrayed Elvis big time!!! Elvis saw that maybe that if he married his freedom gone!!! he apologised to her by singing a song that maybe if he was a good man things could had been great in his life. but those vultures encouraged the single life, like that Espesito. he lost his wife. the other wives didn't walk as they weren't strong enough to live their cheating men. We are not perfect in this life. Priscilla didn't wilt. that was the strength Elvis saw in her and look at her todate. she is still continuing his legacy till she does. been 45 years, how can anyone endured the horrible remarks thrown at them? Elvis loved Priscilla like a brother to a sister, but he loved Ann-Margret like a man loves a woman. He sent Ann-Margret guitar-shaped flowers for everyone of her opening acts (he didn’t do that to any of his former girlfriends that we know) which was a sign that he had never forgotten her; towards the end of 1972, while he was dating Linda & separated from Priscilla, he attempted to get back with Ann-Margret. According to Ann-Margret in her 1994 book, she said Elvis visited her after her show & later that night called her up asking to see her because he was lonely (why would he be lonely, he had Linda; a clue that he didn’t really love Linda either). She turned him down because she was married to Roger Smith @ the time, who turned out to be the best for her & likely the greatest love of her life. Although she still carried a torch for Elvis, she had enough morals and character (which I feel Priscilla lacks) to say “no” to him. Everyone in his entourage (including Priscilla & his father) was afraid to say “no” to Elvis, but Ann-Margret had the guts to do so. He went downhill from then on because he knew he had lost Ann-Margret for good. Elvis had his chance with Ann-Margret back in the 1960’s, but he blew it. I remember reading somewhere which Linda said Elvis told her he regretted not marrying Ann-Margret. A-M was honorable & faithful to Roger Smith, but I can’t say the same for Priscilla. Remember, Priscilla is younger than Ann-Margret. Priscilla copied & made herself look, sound & speak like Ann-Margret, not the other way around. So, yes I believe Ann-Margret’s side of the story and that Elvis would still be with us today if he had married Ann-Margret. He would not have been so self-destructive because he would have someone who understands, supports and loves him for who he is as a person and a man, not an image. Even Colonel Parker & Elvis’s father had respect for Ann-Margret to ask her to host a special for Elvis because they knew the truth & how Elvis felt about her. That really puts the ball on Ann-Margret’s side for sure. Another thing, Elvis stopped having sexual relations with Priscilla after Lisa Marie because he thought of Priscilla as a sister as I mentioned before, not a lover. He probably felt incestuous and dirty to continue a sexual relationship with her. As a result, he had to look elsewhere to satisfy his manly need, thus, the numerous short-term girlfriends and lovers. Gosh, he even introduced his girlfriends and raved about them while Priscilla & Lisa Marie were in attendance @ his concerts! I heard Sofia Coppola is going to make another Elvis movie based on Priscilla’s book Elvis & Me🙄. Wasn’t there already a movie made for TV based on her book? I think it’s called This is Elvis with Kurt Russell as Elvis. I wish someone would make a movie about Elvis & Ann-Margret while she’s still with us, but I don’t think Ann-Margret would allow that to happen because she values her privacy (as Elvis would) and has too much class.

based on the interview of Elvis closest friends Elvis loves Pricilla so much that when she left him .that's the biggest blow in his ego .that he was not able to overcome until his death..after Priscilla left he was hooked deeper into drugs because of so much pain..in his last concert he cried when he sung you are always in my mind and hurts .in one of his concert he called Priscilla my wife. he can't help admiring her beauty even in the presence of his new girlfriend..

The only woman that Elvis truly loved was his mother, Gladys Love Presley.

They both broke each other trust. He with Ann and her with the karate instructor. It is a shame, because Lisa Marie suffered the pain.

I love Elvis and Pricilla is beautiful, but a 14 year old is to young to be around 24 year old and a 16 year old still needs to be with her parents.

If you do the mat here it just can't be right that she moved to Graceland before she turned 16. Priscilla was born May 24, 1945. She turned 15 in 1960 after Elvis had left Germany in March. There are several pictures of a 16 year old Priscilla taken in Germany by the man that introdused her to Elvis, Cary Grant. She is pictured with her date Ron Tapp at a school dance in Wiesbaden, Germany. She says she visited Elvis for the FIRST time in LA in 1962. I found it stated several places it was in June, which makes her 17. On Pinterest there are pictures of a 17 year old Priscilla vacationing in Spain with her parents and siblings. The text under the pictures says she had just been visiting Elvis for two weeks and then returned back to her family in Germany. She went back to spend Christmas 1962 together with Elvis at Graceland. She came back in March 1963 to live with Vernon and his wife Dee. Elvis lived in LA at the time. She says she gradually moved her things over to Graceland during the spring of 1963. She turned 18 in May 1963.. 1963-1945=18

So was she 15 or 17 when she moved into Graceland? She’s said she was 17 almost 18 and only visited at 16!

She was a few weeks from her 18th birthday. I have no idea why she told Barbra Walters that she was 15 and then tells this guy the same but she was born in 1945 and moved to Graceland in 1963 - simple maths!
