The scripture says, “You can’t please God without faith.” That’s a powerful principle. That means you can be obedient, but have a sour attitude and limited vision, and not please God. You can give, you can love, you can help the poor, you can volunteer. Those things are all great. We should do them. But, if you’re not believing for things bigger than you can accomplish on your own, if you’re not expecting difficulties to turn around, if you’re not anticipating new levels and thanking God that He’s opening doors you can’t open, thanking Him that He’s bringing promises to pass, then you’re not releasing your faith. You have to stir up what God put in your heart. I hope this comment has uplifted and blessed you, we are praying for you. I have a testimony!!! God saved our marriage!! My husband became a prodigal, I stood for my marriage. Even when no one else believed it could be fixed, I knew what God said! There were so many ways that Gods hand was on me and our 3 children during that season. Even when I started losing hope towards the end, God came through! My husband and I reunited, reconciled and now have the opportunity to work at everlasting restoration. All the praise, honor and glory to God! He saved our marriage! He saved our family!

When I go outside to work, I listen to Mrs. Shirer, and every single time, I end up crying, I mean deeply weeping, out to the Lord. I'm praying for my daughter, who has been away for four years now, serving in the Army; I pray for my younger daughter, who just graduated, has gone through an extremely difficult experience, and has struggled with being led by the Spirit rather than her friends. But mostly, I cry out to God over my son, Landon. Landon is extremely smart (graduated from high school in three years with a 4.0), and he's very mechanical. He also knows how to communicate well and articulate how to do things that's beyond his age. He is definitely been given a gift. Since Landon has graduated, he has been in and out of friends' homes, in and out of jobs, in and out of relationships, and in and out of trouble. This is the third time he has been in jail, and we told him we couldn't help him this time. And as scared as I've been for him, I've also had a sense of peace because at least he's not getting into trouble. I have prayed Jer. 29:11 over all three of my kids since birth, and I'm hanging on to that promise. As I listened to Priscilla talk about when we are empty, He can fill us with hus goodness. Anyway, I have continued praying over his life & his situation, waiting for a miracle. Tonight my husband got to talk to hom for a few minutes, and Landon told him he's been leading a Bible study and been praying over the other inmates. Praise God!
