I have a 1981 shovelhead I’m building and it doesn’t have this factory mounting location? Anywhere known they might sell a weld on piece to make the brake mount up and I don’t have to make a special tab

Is this brake setup limited to using the Wagner style master cylinder? Also, can the pivot point for the brake foot lever be used to install a shifter peg, like the foot clutch pedal?

Nearly every bike ever made in the last 60 years has the brake pedal operating vertically downwards under your foot with no need to lift your foot to make it operate.The above system , though beautifully made is ergonomically hopeless.Picture lifting your foot 6 in. vertically then pushing it forwards horizontally to make it function.
