Yeah I call bullshit. We typically get the release then other iteams for the set start slowly coming out after and we start seeing original release items. Then a few months later we get a small reprint. Then at about the year mark there's a big reprint. The only people saying this shit talk about their distributors as in they are the sellers. They want you to have fomo to pay dumb ass prices

@trickwheeler what do you mean? It's a special set etbs are a good go to for product. I was able to buy many etb for paldeian fates 151 and crown zenith just like I will for presmatic when resellers piss off.

It makes sense to me. They will be able to get the product out quicker if they just print the booster bundles. They are already set to release in March, so they are likely just printing more as they are already set up to print. It also allows them to not worry about all of the other components that are in other products like ETBs, poster collections, etc.

I call BS bro.. You have to question this. Historically, they have reprinted special sets insanely. Also, this is potentially the biggest set of the year. It would not make sense to not reprint the ETB which has one of the most sought after promo!

Thanks for the video though!!! Really helpful. Urgh, I was such an idiot. I honestly cancelled my ETB pre order on the past Wednesday. (You know just not satisfied with the set compared to Terastal Festival). But when I got to the store, to buy my pre ordered sticker pack. I was like "but I want it, they have like 14 of them, I'll buy one". Noooope, the price had been bumped from 55 to 95, and well, many would still pay that price, but I would not. I would have my Eevee special promo secured by now if I simply hadnt cancelled the preorder.

Many people have been opening their etb's because of the reprint news, if pokemon decides not to make anymore, they fix one problem with another. I have a hard time believing in this. (or rather said, i wouldnt have done this) - Also, there is no way distro knows this 3 days after release, im sorry to say, but i call bs on this xD and hope im right - even 151 had a etb restock. I believe your guys, misunderstood, that they will get bundles in march, and not etb's with it, therefore thinking there will be no reprint. Thats the only thing that makes sense

Haha well 40$ bundles and 200etbs couldn't happen, but 60$ bundles and 150$ etbs could happen easy if they don't reprint and the product becomes very exclusive for a while... Sounds illogical with the price/pack+ promo but I would redirect you to the crown zenith shiny zacian/zamazenta boxes were about 12$ difference for the longest while even though the promos are practically bulk and the bixes are otherwise identical, as well as the paldean fates starter collection boxes also ranging 12€ between them, with the same things+shiny bulk skeledirge costing 12€ more than the same things plus a quaqaval bulk shiny card haha

well bois, you see, it makes sense , here’s why, it’s cheaper to make bundles than etbs, it’s also faster, you can print bundles to the ground without hurting the product exclusive value , pokemon has learned that by printing to the ground etbs they hurt the image of their best product , they KNOW pokemon tcg is not rich because of players, but collectors, ITS THE SMARTES ECONOMICAL MOVE .. cope hard, but it’s the reality, pray it drops to 100 and click buy 10 , buy bundles or stop bitchin about it.. you’ve been warned

Eh I’ll believe this when they say it in about 2 years when it’s out of the print cycle. Pokémon could tell distributors tomorrow that they are reprinting etbs. Stuff changes day to day. Plus none of these distributors that give stuff to LGs stores have an inside scoop on target/walmart/gamestop and how much they get. Watch a Danny phantump video and he breaks stuff down really well. So even if this is completely true, it’s only half the story from half the supply.

Its a specialty set with the main product being elite trainer boxes. You might be new to the hobby but there has never been a specialty set where etbs were not reprinted in a large way yet why would they start now when their website directly says "more inventory of this item will be available later" in full black and white.
