When the Celebrations Pikachu Vmax figure box came out, I asked if they had them at my Walmart. They said they had one left, but the box was damaged, but they could give me a discount because of that. I hesitated but said OK.Brought it home, opened the packs and got the Charizard. Passing on the Prismatic Evolutions and buying the Terastal Festiva Japanese booster boxes.

Isn't a part of the issue the fact that the distribution allocations are soooo low. I saw something where one of the online shops put out a video and the guy was like, I cant pay bills for the month at this allocation.

Because if stores have been paying with their Pokemon sales for years they won’t be cut and will continue to do so but might have to charge 2 to 5 more per piece as distribution has increased prices on some product right out the gate.

Now I’m I wrong for buying as much as I can in the limited time Walmart has preorders pop up? The bots are rough out here… it hurts me to this day on that drive to work at 9am having pokemon center etb case in my cart, and was like “ I’ll wait till I get home from work”😢🤦🏼‍♂️😵! And I really wasn’t expecting all these places like forge n fire and flip side to be gouging like this! After getting surging sparks cases for 599 pre order from them… it’s crazy!

I doubt that it'll be the hottest piece. The pikachu figure wasn't hot at all, in fact you could find it in almost every store for weeks. It's only after that it started rising in price. Figure collections are large, and a pain for collectors/sealed to hold onto.

@@vrudolph2735 one of main distributors increased prices on their products by 2 to 5 dollars per piece. We ate the increase on etb as it was only $2 but the poster saw a more significant increase so we just directly added that cost over our normal sku price!
