But I went from being excited to having no motivation to open it except for the one small preorder I have. The IRs really do make the set for me, which is why I still like a lot of the SV sets- base is my least favorite, but I still love the IRs!

So far, I've opened a total of 9 boxes of Terastal Festival and pulled Glaceon, Jolteon, and Umbreon. I probably wouldn't pull even 1 SIR in English out of 9 ETBs. So I'm gonna be having fun opening this set in Japanese, and hopefully, the hype for the English set will cause the prices of Japanese to crash.

I'm going to wait a bit for Prismatic Evolutions to cool down. We are having new products of the set coming out for the next 9 months! Not even including reprints of those items. It has to go down in price. There's no way a Umbreon card can hold $2,000 when more products keep coming out almost every month for 9 months. Having said that, I am tempted to buy Terrestrial Festival if prices are still too expensive compared to other sets.

This is literally the best way for them to make sure this product sells out instantly forever. It’s got evolving skies pull rates and none of the availability. Even if they absolutely douse the market in etbs, pull rates are so bad people will want the packs wherever they can get them, for any price close to msrp. I can’t see a single eeveelution card being under 200 bucks now. Crazy stuff

Has this actually been confirmed yet with pull rates? Or just speculation? I know there's been people streaming with stolen product, but they had quite obviously weighed tampered with packs. It seems much more likely that PC would keep SIR pull rates more consistent with 151 which was closer to 1/30ish packs. Which would mean any specific SIR would be closer to 1/900ish

Not gonna lie. Pretty tired of people continually saying that these packs are $15-20 a pack. They're not. Once it comes out they'll eventually be available for most people at Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, and wherever else they're sold that isn't online or in a card shop. If I can get them at those stores for $5 or less then that is what they are actually worth. Anyone selling them for triple to quadruple what they're actually worth is scalping their customers. The pull rate is driving up the value of the card, not the pack. The packs should go up in value once they stop selling this set in chain stores. Not before they're even released to the public.
