amazing that you are covering this node, I've been using it recently to make fake blob shadows and with this vidya I learned things to explore more stuff, its surprisingly useful :D, thanks a lot ^^

How does your fake shadow material work? Sounds interesting

@@morganlak4337 basically we put planes masked that use a texture to draw shadows instead of rendering a traditional shadow with lightning, is cheaper, the drawbacks are that is totally not flexible and that is hard to work with

we use a component to automatically put the planes under the models at the correct position and choose the correct texture for the shadow

this is great! would you also consider making a full tutorial for the foliage bending that you've showed here? it's looking amazing but i cannot make the nodes out from the peek we got here :D

Hey Ali! The whole system is from my 3-part Landscape Interaction system so you'd need to be up to date with that in order for any explaination to make sense haha

How make this technicue darkner bottom plant and brighter top? I try connect output to lerp alpha but strange effect, when i try more black then colour move axis Z

Instead of making it a lerp alpha you can multiply the bounding box UVs by a Brightness scalar parameter and then multiply that output against your texture

What if the pivot is offsetted and not at the bottom , i mean what if its a vertex anim ? The pivot is at 0,0,0 and the actor is moving some place else.
