Dennis Stratton made his name as the second lead guitarist for Metal legends Iron Maiden at the dawn of their career in 1979. Having already toured with Status Quo and Rory Gallagher, he was an experienced player and was heavily involved in the recording and production of the Maiden's debut album in December 1979. In this interview he discusses joining the band, his thoughts on the various members at the time, his involvement in their first UK TV appearance on Top of the Pops, the NWOBHM scene, supporting Judas Priest in Britain and KISS in Europe and the reasons for his leaving the group.
