In Today's Accurize Moment, Accurize goes for a walk through Timberwolf Country with a random piece of moose steak in his pack. I guess he wanted to play go fetch with a pack? None of them wanted to play with him though, as the only timberwolf he came across squealed and ran away from The Bearskined Terror. Survival TIp: It's always a good idea to check your pack for random meat or raw guts that could draw some unwanted attention your way before going out into the frozen wilderness. BTW, I got a good laugh out of Accurize's reaction to finding that moose steak!

I've had the noisemakers take 2 to demoralize them. I think it's all about where you land them in relation to the wolves. If you can land one in a cluster of them, that can demoralize them by 1/2. If you land it near a single or a ways off, it's effectiveness scales down. At least that's how the game describes them.

Loving the episode so far, hope you get well soon! Also forgot to comment on last episode. Make sure to harvest meat quarters before carrying as they weight double e.g. that 9kg moose quarter only yields 4.5kg of meat. Quarters also despawn and lose condition much quicker. Best way is to quarter first so you get all the guts and hide in 1hour and then immediately harvest meat before carrying.

@@Accurize2 More to explore then. Have there been no vistas in Blackrock? I don't remember you finding any, or clues towards them. As far as I remember there was at least 1 vista per zone, minus the transitional areas.

Thanks for the well wishes. We’re all feeling much better. We just got back from the beach on Anna Maria Island and are now preparing to go out for dinner. Weather, house and beaches are awesome here!

Accurize, if you want to rotate an item you're trying to place, such as your bedroll, you can rotate it by spinning the mouse wheel. Also, I don't think wolves can get into the busses, tough I haven't tested it, and they still can't actually get into fishing huts, though if you're too close to the door, they can get you. The fishing hut one, I have had to test a few times, and they still just run around the outside and eventually run off whining. Unless you get too close to the doorway, then the wolf might be able to grab you, which did happen to me once. I learned my lesson from that and stay deep in the hut if I've gotten the attention of a wolf.

Your rifle is a British SMLE. It is not semi-auto, it does not auto reload. It ejects the brass when you rack to bolt to load another round after firing. Once you rack to bolt, you can find the brass there.

It's always colder in the morning regardless of the difficulty level. I play on voyager but even on stalker and interloper, once the sun is at the midpoint it will get warmer until morning when it will be at its coldest.

There's two good things about intestinal parasites unless they've recently been nerfed. First you can sleep as much as you want since you never get fully rested. Just of course watch out for cabin fever and your meters. Second since you can't have intestinal parasites twice at the same time you can eat all the predator meat you want for the 10 (Stalker) or 20 (Interloper) days you have intestinal parasites. And it is cumulative days of treatment so you can skip days but you will continue to lose condition and fatigue at the normal per day rate.

While in the Blackrock grounds there's normally more then usual auroras. It seems you're just getting really bad luck in there. When I was there, I was getting an aurora an average of 1 per every 3 nights.

Then yes. I was definitely having horrible luck. Oh well, I had the Louisville shopping mall spawn in Project Zomboid, so I’m still ahead with my luck overall.

@@CaptKogane I take it you've had similar experiences with XCom2. I have a pretty good idea why it's like that too, from an interview I heard about with one of the XCom2 developers that indicated they added in some sort of rubber banding algorithm that adds hidden adjustments to the chance of success for RNG driven actions. If you're playing too good, it makes them harder by injecting hidden penalties, so that 99% flank shot that ought to hit 99 times out of 100, ends up hitting only 90 or 05 times out of 100, and 80% shots miss about 40% of the time and so on. Advent gets the inverse, so their 10% shots will hit about twice as often as they should statistically.

currently binging, came from Ep 10. I’m just curious, how come your character can get parasites from wolf and bear meat but not from deer or rabbit or fish meat? the bears and wolves eat the deer and rabbits so i figured it would spread through the prey of the bears and wolves but i was just curious!

I'm thinking that you were in kind of a hurry when you went in here, but you did stop at the trailer for some reason, but not the truck....ugh, I don't recall why I think that, but.... I'll be glad when it gets warmer and I have more of an outdoor life. lol Also, you were "Willowesting" the sticks there for awhile, I miss her plays on YT, she was also a beast at TLD. Do you know if she is still active on a platform?

I'd say drop a hide or guts to see if the bus is indoors to see if they start curing - I think it's outdoors. Also I've never had a wolf or bear get into a fishing hut despite close calls, though I've heard of them glitching through?

Thanks for the fishing hut example. I have had a similar experience. I didn’t have a bear glitch through the wall once…that was unnerving for sure. I’m almost certain the hides won’t cure in the bus.
