He seems to use the NKJV often but occasionally uses “The Message” translation to make a point clear.

I've been following along with NASB (New American Standard Bible) on www.blueletterbible.org/, and usually it is word-for-word what Randy is saying on the videos. It is helpful to have a second monitor in order to follow the text and the video at the same time.
