The replacement for Glasgow’s notorious Barlinnie prison - long dogged by overcrowding and cramped conditions - has also been put back again until 2028, nine years later than originally promised.
Opposition parties accused the SNP of squandering taxpayer cash on a “scandalous scale” after the initial quoted budget of £100m soared to ten times the price.

The main reason all the colonists are still at the “ it’s over price” ,yet they totally forget the £16billion over spend on HS2 ( which is now cancelled) and the £110million they spend a month on consultants that have never done any work what so ever in the 5years on their contract. Plus the billions of equipment that’s gone missing and the £4.7 billion in land that has mysteriously gone walk about by the £2 billion a year the taxpayers are covering for absolutely nothing. Those colonists should clean their own doorstep first but like all abuser they need to point the finger of doubt at other to hide their corruption and criminality. Also Westminster has to sign off on all SNP business and spending as they are the occupying colonist power .
