This was a solid interview Matt. I also struggled with bulimia for several years, was a miracle I survived and have always felt ashamed of it. To hear this dude speak about it honestly makes me feel a lot better about it and that as long as I continue to take care of myself and stay in the path that I’m on, I can achieve not only a body I desire but a life I’m satisfied with as well. I wish this man all the best and hope he continues his own path to success and happiness that we all deserve. Great work again Matt. 💪

@@InsideTrueCrime hahaha Believe me, I know that feeling. My ONLY SUGGESTION on top of whatever you are planning on is - PLEASE NUMBER YOUR PODCASTS! Leave the "non-podcast videos" unnumbered but I'm telling you i listen to way too many podcasts and you and johnny Mitchell are the only ones who don't number their podcasts and it drives me crazy! lol Marketing wise, it will inspire new viewers to go back and listen to the entire collection that they havent heard. I met her back in like 1994, 95ish, been married to her for almost 8yrs now, she's come along way!

me and my friends all went to get tattoos when we were like 15/16, we show up to this trailer and its just a wild scene. This dude is doing tattoo work on his kitchen table and he has these two kids in there running around I swear to god like 8 and 10 years old and they each have their own little dugouts and are smoking 1 hitters, while this guy is tattooing his kids are opening the fridge and bumping the table he is working on and he is yelling at them “How many Dr. Peppers you had!? no more than 5!” and of course the kid is like “this IS my 5th!” haha later in the livingroom this little badass kid was smoking another one hitter and he told me “I had like 9 dr peppers today” I gave him a fist bump like “nice” lol I ended up being last in line to get the tatt and I sat in the livingroom with these two older sketchy characters and they took a liking to me because I was making them laugh so we started drinking heavy and one of them had a fat bag of xanax and he gave me a couple. By the time it’s my turn I am absolutely lit and being a smartass so the guy refuses to tattoo me and we leave. I Thank god to this day because all my other friends got some Chinese symbol that allegedly means “brothers” directly above their knee blue outline filled in black and it looked like absolute shit and half those guys weren’t even really friends haha also on the way out of this trailer my buddy accidentally dinged this guys shitty fence and he immediately started trying to shake him down for money. My buddy told me like a solid year later he saw that guy in a Kroger and he rolled up on him and was like “we gotta fucking problem, you owe me $600 for my fence.. This can get real ugly…” haha my buddy got out of there and of course never paid this idiot any money for that busted fence so yes there are fucking 8 year olds running around smoking weed. A completely separate time I went to this trailer and met this dude named “Dozer” who had just done like 20 years in prison and was big as hell and had a mullet looking like an 80’s wrestler. Really fucking intense dude. I’m watching out of the corner of my eye this kid no older than 10 smoking a blunt in this trailer while Dozer has me cornered aggressively telling me about how they use to put a bunch of ramen noodles and kielbasa sausage and spices in pantyhose and he is doing karate chop motions super close to my face basically screaming “YOU TENDERIZE IT! YOU WORK THE SPICES IN! THEN YOU GOT YOU A KIELBASA SAUSAGE AND YOU CUT IT! USUALLY ON TUESDAYS WE GET AN ONION FROM THE KITCHEN! YOU SEE WHERE I AM HEADED WITH THIS!?? YOU WORK THAT ONION IN THERE” I’m basically backed into a corner nodding my head like “yeah I love onions…” If you live in a shitty area and you are young and dumb and always chasing the next party or drug you will end up meeting some insane people. I’ve grown up and moved away and actually have a professional career and that lame stuff but I still look back on some of these times with amazement. I was lucky because a lot of my friends didn’t get out.

My experience it's really not worth running a store, to many people are into telling, dudes catch a debt with you and instead of paying they'll tell the police that you're running a store lol where im from if you have a lot of commissary and don't have the receipts for the item you have they'll bang you for it, it's just not worth it, guys that are bad $$ will get mad when you don't do business with them they'll tell on you it's just a headache, sometimes you can pull it off but it all depends on where you are i guess, I've also seen it happen to plenty of other guy's as well, instead of the people who owe the debt running off the block they'll get you banged lol very rarely I've seen guys do good enough to continually make and send profits home 💯

Its because they grow up in a place where people won't kick your teeth out for disrespecting them. I grew up in a white bread neighborhood but when i got older lived in ghettos and started liking how you can punch a guy in the face (or worse) and the cops never show up. I'm still amazed when I see some idiot tryen start up with me and I live in Alaska now where you can be in some really out of the way place where the cops physically can't get there in an hour. I've let loose on a couple people who want to run their mouth over absolutely nothing. Minding your own business is also taught a lot more in the ghettos.

I don't know if its Coby in back or not. But his interventions threw me off. Number 1 : he doesn't have a mic. The problem appears when you're focused the whole time then a " random voice " comes in, without mic. and you just losing your focus in the interview. One time is ok, but two three times going back and forth is a no go ( at least to me ). And i do love podcasts. It would really be nice to have an other Camera on him ( at all time ). when he speak he can Edit and put the cam on him. Important : And give him a Mic. Because the voice tone is off, it doesn't come out " professional " ( we aren't in a setting of bros having a conversation. It would be a Cop, a Lawyer, an other Crazy Criminal, maybe he wouldn't have done that, maybe he would, the result would've remained the same. Its a " voice coming out, without mic, with no face, that cut the discussion, even though for you in the room it " adds up " to the discussion ) Number 2 : Instead of giving " breathing room " in the interview or giving " smart discussion or questions ". it opresses and black out the interview for a moment. ( I think its mostly because he doesn't have a mic / Cam, It isn't because he is talking. ) You guys can see Coby or the video editor at all time in the room so it doesn't feel unnatural And i don't know if its too much work matt to edit. But check this out matt Its an " AI multi podcast editor " Like that your editor i think won't have really much more work to do : kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5y2gmeinb9mr7c I usually don't comment. I watched a lot, a lot of videos from this channel. But if it made me comment, it really because it was unbearable. When you're in the room its alright, its a discussion so you don't see how it can sound off. You're living the present moment. Its great. But as someone who watching. Its hard. i'm hitting 1h33 and i'm kinda done. i'll finish it but yeah Kinda hard. I feel like he's getting comfy, and more things like that will occur in the rest of the podcast. Mostly when you have " Camera angles " change between : You / you two / Guest, each time of the talks, that emphases that dynamic and brings a kind of not intimacy but a feeling of being close to you guys. A third person that talks, forces the guest to move the torso not being in front of the table etc. Like its messy. its so messy. It becomes a three way talks, and we have 3 camera angles only on two people. You guys can move your head around. We Can only watch forward on the screen and let ourselves being led by the dynamic of the camera angles. When you do explain something to him its alright ( like in the zack videos etc ). When you do something to introduce interaction with an off camera person its ok, because you're leading it. But when the 3rd takes, i wouldn't say control but is " let loose ". yeah it definitely needs a 3rd cam and a mic. Without its hard Which adds up to a third Part : How do we set the interview. Is it pertinent to have 3 cams ? The setting is " Matt cox interview So and So. " " So and So Tells his Story to matt cox ". A 3rd cam and a 3rd person entering the discussion is great. But it's not anymore " Mat cox's channel. " I'd say. ( i'm posing those questions, its just to make you guys think alright ? ). Where do you wanna go Matt ? Because 3rd is talking at equal ground almost. ( Which again is fine. It means he is interested with the guest and the guest story. ) ( I am also interested in the guest story. But i'm oversea. I can't interact, Now if my job would be to be in this room.. how would've i acted ? Well it depends on the job, and my limitations with tha job. ) Again. You guys are three in the room you all see each other, its a natural setting. It would be freaking weird if 3rd guy doesn't talk if his heart really wanted to say something, and he keeps his lips sealed. But as a viewer we never see 3rd guy. So.. yeah.. My natural setting is to see only the two of you. Your natural setting is to be 3, and Ship the video away to people you don't see, don't interact with unless afterwards in a resting " time " off work. So yeah you need to read that comment ! you guys are great as always alright ? Keep it up. On that note Take care, You can rewatch the interview. and see for yourself if what i'm saying is accurate or not. I think it is worth to rewatch it. And not just reading my comment

Matt, you missed your mark on this one. Just honest criticism. I enjoy your channel more than anything going right now but some of these guys don’t deserve to be on your platform. Let some of these up and coming channels deal with guys like this. You bring your stock down having guys like this on. I’m sure he’s a decent guy and all that but he doesn’t bring anything to the table. You have this ability to make it seem like you’ve known these people all of your life and it’s just two friends catching up. Some of your best videos have been when you’ve stepped outside of the prison genre. Whether you recognize it or not, you’re in the upper echelon of KZbinrs. You put out quality content…most of the time.

Matt puts out 16 to 18 podcast per month. Every podcast is not going to be a "Banger". It's simply a business decision. He obviously wants quality, but the number 1 objective is money. Not every podcast is for everyone. 12 out of 16 of his podcast are "Good to Great". 4 or so that are "ok". Many times you don't know until after you film the podcast, how it will turn out. As far as the UFO segments, they are not Matt's thing either, but they are some of his most watch videos. Even though I don't like the UFO videos, I would do the same thing if it was my podcast. Not many creators can put out the level of content and the quantity of podcast with only a staff of one other person (Most have several).

@@christophermitchell4455 thank you for your input Christopher but you’ve clearly misinterpreted my comment and spewed out something because I guess you just felt like saying it. Not once did it mention a “banger” or was it implied that every video he puts out should do amazing numbers. My point was that he should save these types of guys for KZbinrs that are, for lack of a better word, beneath him. While it’s understood that every video Matt puts out won’t be the best I’ve ever seen or as you put it a “banger” some videos are best left not putting out. Rather than be disappointed, personally, I’d rather just not have any content from him that day. Not to mention one doesn’t want to over saturate KZbin with one’s content. Makes viewers appreciate you more and can have confidence in the fact that when a video does drop it’ll be worth it. But what do I know? I hope this clears somethings up for you, Christopher.

Yardville isnt gladiator School.now if he went to rahway. I'd say yeah.... First of all, Trenton is in South Jersey. And Central Jersey is in the middle. Which would be right across from Staten Island where I'm from. This guy has no clue what he's talking about.😂
