Oh yeah, that’s a fat bag my guy! That brings back memories man… I spent 118 months in federal prison after spending 52 months and change at Brushy Mountain. Brushy was in the late 90’s though, so things were VERY DIFFERENT. That’s back when a carton of Marlboro reds was $31.50 at “the shack”. Idk how places do it these days, but back then, there wasn’t a kiosk to order from or even a bubble sheet to fill in. You walked to the “corner store” aka “the shack” aka the commissary building, told them what you wanted and were on your way. None of that order on Thursday, get it Tuesday or only ordering one/two days a week, the shack was open from right after 06:00 count until 10 minutes before 22:00 lockdown, every day except for Sunday. Anyway, great video! I apologize for my long ass rambling nonsense masquerading as a coherent comment

This reminds me of a blind school. I went two years ago. All the food was donated. It’s mostly consisted of beans and rice. Various other things. I remember there was no fresh fruit though and very little canned fruit. We could get a yogurt every now and then, but I remember being so desperate for fresh fruit that I walked a mile to get some I also ended up ordering some Harri and David fruit to have it delivered which cost a fortune when it came, it wasn’t ripe however it got around the dorm that I had fruit. I ended up sharing it with a hole in my friends, and we ate it despite it not being ripe. I’ve seen a lot of videos of other jails. There’s one in the Philippines where they have stores you can buy fresh vegetables and fresh and bread they provide you with rice and like a little bit of vegetables or protein and then you buy whatever you want and cook it. Can you order and have stuff delivered like can you say order from Harri and David and have stuff delivered also, why do they not offer things like canned fruit and vegetables? I mean they can get them in different kinds of packaging so they would not have actual metal but they would be able to get some fruits and vegetables into you guys.

Many years ago I met a man who was a very nice and humble millionaire at a cigar bar in Houston. He made his fortune from the Texas Department of criminal justice. Basically he was one of the main suppliers of commissary products to the prisons in Texas. Basically would buy all the items on a wholesale scale on bulk. Of course rams noodles packets basically a salt lick in a bag or cup was alway his top selling item. But so was tuna and stationary products especially stamps.
