A guy I dated 17 years ago went to prison for 8 years. We broke up before he went to prison. When we dated he was struggling between the dark & light. One minute he was talking about God, wanted to go to church, the next minute talking about selling drugs, killing etc.... When he was released from prison he married a female he knew in high school and now is a very well known pastor in California. It depends....he had a calling on his life before he went to prison. This is very rare, but I will never date anyone in prison.

Prisoners have nothing but time. I worked in a male prison for years. Most men are talking to as many women as possible!!!! They will even share women, pass them along. Never do this!!! They are looking to talk to, write, and get money from anyone and everyone. Love yourself. There is a good man out. He's in prison for a reason .

Why on God's earth, would anyone, especially a young woman, and as Tony would say 'a baby', would want to find a man who is in prison to be talking to, let alone ' have a relationship' with. For a start, he's not available to have a relationship with. He's in prison! As she started off saying' she was at a low point. Wow! She must've been so low to even feel that a man in prison would be an option! Young lady, you need to try and practice, 'self love'. You're young, and have the world at your feet! I'd NEVER, knowingly consider dating a man who'd been in prison, let alone finding one who's inside and wasting time waiting for him. Especially one who committed morale criminal act! No-o-o!! Hey Tony! I wholeheartedly agree with what your saying on this situation. I have been in a somewhat similar position, and I realised that it was the worst mistake of my life! I was deluded, thinking I could help, fix, be there for this man, but he showed me I wasted my time. I had people telling me not to wait for him, but I felt bad abandoning what we had. It wasn't much...When you THINK/BELIEVE you love someone who doesn't recognise a good woman, (if she slapped him in the face🤣) it is futile. I would give the same advice that was given to me, NOT to stay with anyone that unfortunately finds themselves in this predicament. I take NO PRISONERS! ⛓️🔗🔐

Tony you are so right about men in prison. I work where men are incarcerated. They even be making eyes at me and I'm their keeper. A couple of them have had women they're writing to & making phone calls to while one of them being married. Then they be looking at me sideways thinking if they be sweet talkin me I'll give them what they want or favoritism over the other prisoners. They're immoral or low values or what got them into prison. And that same thinking trying to use it on us that take care of them shows they are still in that mindset. A good portion of them have Bibles in their rooms. But if I were to have a conversation with them they wouldn't last long in it if it concerned the Lord. they would begin to start squirming around and have to leave. Or wouldn't understand what I'm talking about if I'm talking about the Lord. I've taking care of maybe around the hundred prisoners and not one of them could I say I felt they knew the Lord. But they could talk about Him as if they did. But it's another scam to make people think they've changed so they can get out. These men don't change they have the same mindset that they'll do what they can and play the game so that they can get out. So if a woman wants to be the girlfriend, the wife, or friend of one of these men he would be just playing the same game on her because that's all he knows. She could never change him. Only knowing God could do that. It would only be a broken heart for any woman who put herself in that position.

Thank you. I fell for a man in prison and he has accused me of everything under the sun, when all I've done is be faithful to him. He told me he was only molding me not trying to control me. I've shed tears because he said he trust God that I was sent to him but then turn aroud and hurt me with accusations and calling me a liar. Again thank you, I know who and whose I am. I may have gotten weak and he picked that up on me. But he can search someone else out now. You and Tony kept it real.

This topic right chea is unbelievably a Great topic!! So much so, they have made it into a reality show!! Wow!! How I see it, it's not even personal...It's like a past time, a lifestyle for most of the guys that we (women) claim to be holding down!!! Makes me think of 2pac song (What you won't do for 💘 love)...Thing is no judgement bc dealing with a disconnected individual no matter if they are (career criminals, CEO of a Fortune 500 Company or sleeping on his momma's couch)...It's a reflection of Our disconnection!!! Apparently a lot of women do ....a couple years ago I was in the city...heading to the train station and I saw all these women ..it was around 9pm and I thought it was a bus ride...so I walked up to a guy standing at the corner to ask him what was going on ...he seemed surprised when he looked up at me ..then he explained that those buses were for the women going to visit their families etc in the prison ....this location was 5hrs away close to Canada....and he said what was sad is that they make that long trip ...only to visit and turn around and have come right back ...they do it every week..I learned something new...

Omg I been though something like this I with someone for 6 years and I met him in fb and I ending moving to the same State for him and waited for him to get out and he was cheating on me the whole Time I still had hope and he went back to prison only been out for a year and was not living with me I still was rocking with him finally he got out within two years he moved in with me only a month and a half he was cheating on me I found lipstick in my house I kicked him out just so he can cheat on me again and I was still trying to work it out now he’s locked up again looking at 25 do 10 so I say this they’re not worth waiting on it hurts and im still working on myself now
