Wow, that's probably the roughest zombie story I've ever heard. Absolutely 18+ only, whew. Great narration as always, Doc. Not only is this story an absolutely new twist on the genre, it's got some pretty horrible stuff going on that has nothing to do with Zombies at all, just a stark reminder of the fact that some monsters are just people with the humanity removed.

This story would be a great series or movie. There’s parts that I’m still interested in knowing. For instance is he guilty of murder or was he railroaded into prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Also there’s a lesson to be learned from this story. In the darkest hours and places, Karma is real and it will find you no matter what.

Oh if there’s anything I love in a good abusive type story, it’s some damn good revenge. And this one had me smiling near unnaturally! It’s fantastic when the underdog gets his and I loved it! And to really top it off with quality, the movement of his rise was pretty damn realistic, as a prisoner who had virtually zero experience with survival, guns, and basically nothing aside from take out and bullshit jobs, when those people learn to not only survive, but to nearly thrive, it’s an absolute delight. The only thing I would have added would have been suggesting him to do some minor practice with the firearms. And as such he’d have been far more capable upon coming across that nasty Wolfpack of degenerates. Yet, he did, he learned through actual experience and did damn good I’d say. It was a bit much to have him always coming across those same people, but it worked. And given my favorite thing, being revenge upon a bastard who did what did to him, it was satisfying enough to make it work. Highest of Praise to Jrubas, thank you for this one. I don’t recall the first installment, but this was written in a way that didn’t fully need you to. And that’s fantastic. A stand alone part of a series that needs no real foreknowledge can be great, and you nailed it. And as I must I sincerely thank the Dr, for this excellent delivery of an exciting piece. I’d definitely enjoy more, even if the vengeance has been served. Outstanding! 👏👏👏👏

Currently listening while having a field ration in an abandoned prison during a heavy thunderstorm with my team by the light of improvised oil lamps that we made from discarded tuna tins, twine, and fatty acids. We are clad in black tactical fatigues and our meals vary from curries and stews to lo mein noodles, to fried rice, to bbq chicken pizza to pasta with tomato sauce to southwestern style burritos to smoked poultry with cranberry sauce to lentils to baked beans. Our rations are self heating and we have instant coffee afterwards from the stainless steel cups under our water bottles after using the cups for our powdered electrolyte beverages. One of our members found a 10 year-old bottle of bourbon that some of us use on our desserts. Our m9s, psd90s, spas 12s, and m110s are resting with their safeties on although we have been briefed on the types of illegal bioweapon experiments that were conducted at this facility.

Just finished the first part.. it was great 👍🏻 Now, after finishing the second part, I'm wondering, for what exactly was he in prison for.. 😮😅 In the first part the inmates got pardoned if they hadn't been sentenced for violent crimes and had 3 years or less remaining.. in the second part, he says he has never held a gun...

Well, that was a total letdown for me! He came from prison life.....WTH.....Why did he need to deal with prison style dude rape in this installment. I don't want to read a story that's 80 percent supposedly straight burly men raping other men for dominance. Just a NO for me. This must be a topic the author enjoys exploring. But I feel his escape into the world could have literally been about anything and everything else.
