He probably knows/accepts he’s in there for some horrible shit he did at 16, vs. wrongly persecuted by The Man. When you know you’ve messed up/done wrong, it probably makes whatever comes after (prison, divorce, an ass-whipping, drunk tank, ER visit, getting fired, etc.) a little easier to accept/deal with. Those who don’t accept responsibility/blame for their horseshit, and walk around with a chip on their shoulder blaming everything/everyone under the sun, except themselves/their actions/behavior, are the unreachable ones. 33 years in the Grey Bar Hotel would straighten me out and give me all the wisdom and clarity I could stand! 😫

Nothing amazing, here. This is pretty much the only life he's known. If he was raised in the dangerous streets, prison life is an extension of that with different routines. He probably lives better in prison: 3 square meals, a bed, no bills, free medical and education if he wants it, etc. He'd probably be dead or worse off on the streets for the past 33yrs

A big message , any young black men that can digest this can pass it on . Years ago you didn't have this information coming at you, but now theirs more informative advice that can help you maintain a better life. Don't wait to go to jail to be educated about the system. A lot of black men are educated from within and will never be able to take that knowledge to the streets to warn these young people about the danger about incarceration.

@@enel8219 they can try a 13 year old as an adult and receive 10 life sentences. The prison industrial complex lobbied for this in the 90's back when Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden were calling people like this man "super criminals". A lot of things happened to get to that point, like the crack epidemic which was the original starting point of the Crips and Bloods as they were flying all around the country to drop off bags of crack for gangs to sell and send the money back to Rick Ross, who was helped by the CIA to start this drug and gang craze to fund money for the Iran Contra. It's a win win for the government. They get these guys to throw their lives away for cheap cash where the CIA gets the lion's share, then put them in prison for the rest of their lives for slave labour.

I don't be in tha streets, I drop knowledge and facts to this generation now. Organization, not the RICO kind, is key. Everyone has to be on tha same page. That's the hardest part; it's what's allowing violence and senseless killings to continue. EVERY OG has to spread this to they sets. @@toneyfox6328 well u might be as slo as dude u calln slow, a smart man that lost that much time of his life should say somethin amongst the lines of “ it’s not worth it , it’s a joke and when u in here you’ll have to put in some work to be accepted with the mob u was already causing chaos under”instead he tryna sound like they got it figured out in there… idk where u at with it but in idoc ( which is in Illinois )the average a.b.e. ( adult basic education) is 3 rd grade yea 3rd grade… it’s lots of dumb nighas in there who can repeat what he just said kus it’s what they been hearing for a long time yet can’t pass an abe test to save they life🤷🏻‍♂️💪or the fact they’ll NEVER WRK A FAST FOOD JOB OR FACTORY JOB BUT WILL WORK FOR 14 dollars a month in prison! Most of those amazing people are either psychopaths or sociopaths or both. Even Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer had some good days.

@@pauls4235 that's the problem with you all now. It takes a comment from some flawed person that barely had one thing figured out for a gullible person like you to acknowledge the wisdom in a statement. If you don't believe in the God the Creator of everything then that means you're already braindead or deteriorating.
