Yupper! Don’t get me wrong here. Doreen has had a raw deal since birth. She has been used and/or beaten by practically everyone she’s met. A mother who shot through, leaving her with an alcoholic father who not only beat her every time he got drunk, but raped her as well. The only high spot in her life was Kevin. But, getting raped destroyed that as well. All of that just to say, although I do feel sorry for her and her tragic life, I would love to drive a spike through her freaking forehead when she starts her whinging! And, if it takes Sandy thumping her to shut her up, the mores the better! Sorry for my soliloquy. But, I’m on my 29th run of the series. And that’s how I roll.

@ 28:29 - Does anyone else see the problem with Sister Franklin in this episode? No? Then I shall explain. It is virtually impossible for Sister Franklin to be in sick bay, wrapping Sandy's hand. "Why?", I'm so glad you asked. Because, Sister Franklin IS DEAD! Evelyn Randall killed her when she started poisoning everyone. Sister Franklin ate the biscuits that Evelyn sprinkled her poison on them. A little bit later, Sister Franklin got sick & went home early. The next day, she called the prison and said she was getting worse, and wouldn't be coming to work that day either. And the prison was locked down & under quarantine. And, it was mentioned to the doctor that Sister Franklin was found dead at home. So, unless Sister Franklin has returned as the Sister Franklin's ghost in this episode, she can't be at work...EVER!

Good to see Erica back, she has her faults but Jim is no governor. She should get more support now Meg is back on board. I'm really growing to like Sandy, she is showing fairness to the others now and looks after those in need of help. The way she smuggled those pills out of the infirmary for Bea was pretty smart and thoughtful. Its a shame Lizzie felt pushed into destroying the house in order to keep Gordon off her back, but needs must, and at least now he won't get his grubby paws on the place! She wasn't happy there as things were so even if she ends up back inside she has not lost much because she missed her mates anyway.

If you're talking about the Bea, Kate & Judy scene, it's a continuation of that scene. It has happened before on other episodes, I guess the producers felt it was best to show the remainder of that scene before the opening titles as it suited it better or there wasn't enough time to show it on the end of the previous episode. Either way, it was common practice in those days.

I guess Patsy came back from her holiday. I used to have a set of Encyclopedia Brittanica in my house when my niece was very small. I guess with all the internet they don't need encyclopedias anymore.Burns are not supposed to be funny. I had a manager I used to work for that was badly burned last year when she was scalded by oil. She had severe second degree burns on her left arm and wore bandages for over a month. Poor Hazel!
