cheers for takin the time to stick all those scenes together and upload em. Not watched those episodes for while, gonna have to dig em out. The fete are a well top action packed couple of episodes Myra escapes, cass goes mad and gets commited and reb bashes phyliss over the head! Prisoner is so cool!! i love it!

Am not really interested in non prisoner fans opinions of prisoner but i think this is one of the best episodes of 1984 and really well written. you have Myra's escape, Cass parker is certified, phyliss hunt - a long serving prisoner is bashed and leaves the series, New officer Cruikshanks development as an officer, Marie winter returns, new prisoner Marlene Warren and new officer Heather Rogers.. if that doesnt keep the viewers watching nothing will.

I use to love watching this in the early nineties. Even then, the show had a certain nostalgia about it. I particularly loved the escape scenes, especially when Doreen escapes with the bloke hiding in the loft at the house renovation project. Also when Maxine steals Meg's car then thieves an unsuspecting rider's motorbike when he comes to her aid when she pretends to break down. The music to go with certain scenes was just awesome. It's all very sadly missed now! :(

The tension music is a bit of an overkill. They should have let the scenes and the acting set the tension.

well.. i know all the typical comments non prisoner fans come up with, poor storylines, bad acting and cheap sets. and it is nearly 30years old and was 10 years old already when we got it in the U.K if you love the series true prisoner fans look beyond all that stuff. sorry i was expecting some negative reply to my comment i guess.
