Thank you Mark for sharing your testimony. God bless you. First of all, I thank God that He has delivered, redeemed, restored and make everything new in your life. It is good as a Christian that you were able to forgive your mother and maybe she accepted Jesus before her death. However, I can't help but see that she was also responsible for the horror that you suffered at the hands of that monster. How could she not have seen something was wrong with you and even when you complained, she was not vigilant? Women, mothers, please no not choose the comfort of being in bed with a man (even if he is your children's biological father) over your children's safety, well being. Listen to them, take them to the doctor. Call the police and report it. Do something!!! Just by being there for them and believing them could help ease the trauma so they know they are not alone. WE OWE IT TO OUR CHILDREN/CHILD.

God bless you I know exactly what you're talking about my abuse started with my uncles my mom was killed in a car wreck when I was six so around that time I lost my virginity to one of my uncles or my grandfather I'm not sure which but it is something that you just you wanted just to go away and not think of it ever again and it creeps in it just creeps back in. Oh the Lord's going to help me seal that where I never think about it again

I was sexually abused by my father and then my own sister. I blocked it all out until I was 35 years old and then the memories came back. I'm having a really horrible time with anger and unforgiveness. My depression is coming back strong. My mind is a mess and always has been. I just want to die but the only thing keeping me here are my two teenage sons who don't seem to want anything to do with me.
