I am at about 18:02 in this episode and if I was Karen I would throw Doreen out on her ass. If she ended up back in prison then so be it. Doreen barely knows Roz.... she has known Karen longer. Yet she has risked Karens freedom and her own for Roz. She put the half way house at risk. A place where someone like Lizzie (who Doreen loves) can spend her last days. Doreen acts like a spoiled brat and I would not put up with it anymore. If I ended up back inside because of her... I would kick her ass everytime I seen her.

E.g when Pat finally leaves were then stuck with Vivien and her horse faced daughter, they're then replaced with Sharon and it's an on going cycle right until the very last episode.

Theres a story behind that. Val told a story once about Sheila Florence who played Lizzie actually being right handed but during The Blitz in London she was blasted through a shop window when a bomb went off. She had severe nerve damage to her right arm and hand and so couldn't write with that hand anymore so she taught herself to write with her left hand instead. True story.

Pat talks way too much and from day one she's followed Bea around as her new best friend despite there being no chemistry between the two what so ever and as Bea is the main character we all have to suffer listening to Pats dog rough voice. Even when she isn't following Bea around she'll be taking her trolly somewhere, going from cell to cell either getting in everyone's business or banging on about her family and how she has to be out for Christmas. Such an awful character, gets WAY too much air time.

I'm not sure why, but Pat's mom annoys me. I think it's because she sounds like she's over exaggerating about her aches and pains rather than appearing genuine in her body language and speech. Wow times have changed, can't leave Yr car unlocked and windows down when you go to work even if you do park outside a prison. The security measures inside the fence also seem slack at times. Solitary looks like a normal cell except less furnished and has a toilet but other inmates can still walk past, open the door hatch etc which on a whole those doors don't look too secure either
