Even if Trevor was found not guilty of killing Rachel's father, arguably he should have still received a custodial sentence for driving when way over the legal alcohol limit. The accident would probably never have happened had he been sober after all. No wonder Rachel felt angry enough to take unconventional action herself, just a shame it won't help her in the long run. Good to see the department actually got a decision right for a change and promoted Meg over Joan. Joan should have been removed from the service ages ago, so she should just be grateful to have a job at all.

I think this is the first episode where the viewer is introduced to the fact that Reb's family background, far from being similarly criminal to her own, is the designer clothes and pink gin set.
