But did he? A inmate holding up a little girl is alarming , like he don’t know if there a sex predator and let’s be real he could have brought the girl over without holding on to her like that
@drunkendevil69603 күн бұрын
@Grimsartorious cop didn't listen to a word he said. Yeah, he had to make sure that no prisoner escaped, but was it necessary for him to rough him up? "Cap, we need help," he explained everything that happened and he gets roughed up.

Just like real cops

@Grimsartorious i don't think a predator would be allowed into this program for the risk of their own safety, yes, these are all people who are trying to return to society but a predator has an extremely low lifespan in prison if they aren't in protective custody. So they may not even enter this program for risk of their own life
@irisairsoul3 күн бұрын
@Grimsartorious so you believe a predator who has spent however long in jail, would lift the child, call to the officers for help (literally said the word help and explained what was going on), and go straight to them with said child? Or do you think they'd hesitate, be tempted, try and "help" the girl on their own? Nah... the officer definitely overreacted especially given that they both went straight to him and said the girl needed help. Tell them to sit on the bench but violently putting them on the ground for that?

This seems unrealistic to me. I have so much appreciation for inmates who work as firefighters. Many years ago my town was saved from an approaching wildfire by visiting fire crews, some of which were inmates. But the inmates on fire duty weren't treated any differently than the other fire crews. We fed the fire crews, local restaurants providing the food, set up buffet style by our volunteers. During that time we spoke with all the fire crews and treated them all the same, even the inmates.
@YujiRoyomen5 минут бұрын
What do you mean unrealistic. The place this show is set, is apparently Califrona, meaning in America. As American, I can tell you...our police are not here to protect us. No one is ever safe from the police in America.

My husband was a volunteer firefighter and EMT for almost 20 years. Our city was so cheap they wouldn't hire full-time firefighters, so he'd pull 24 hour shifts, risking his life for $60.00 a shift. So glad he made it through those 20 years safe.
@NotNtheFace2 күн бұрын
@ he’s a fuckin hero. And I’m not trying to discredit his sacrifices here. I’m just trying to point out what these prisoners (IRL) are dealing with. They make 1/6th of what he made (at best), and they have no other source of income. Still feel the need to say again. What a great man your husband is! Lives and homes were saved by him. A debt that just can’t be repaid.

Get your kid back Leone she an unfit parent if she was a real ride or die she would’ve told that cop off
@Del-Moss3 күн бұрын
Unfortunately Leone is currently a prisoner and as such can't take care of a child. Even if he gets out the record would be such an uphill battle that it would require the mother to actively harm the child or brake the law and get arrested for Leone to even have a chance at gaining back custody. Even in a situation like that if there were any grandparents who contested Leone from getting custody they would have a better chance at gaining custody over him.

She got pregnant with her at a young age and went away and that was her "sister" until her parents died then the truth came out fact is she doesn't know who the dad actually is she thinks it could possibly be bode or someone else's not sure. The little girl bonded with bode and wouldn't talk to ANYONE but him. While supervision was there he got her to talk and found out where she lived and got ahold of her parents as well as finding her grandpa making her feel safe until the parents arrived. WHEN the one in charge his friend explained to her what happened she came back and listened finally. She is actually a nurse at the hospital dating Jake another friend of bode. The reason bode is in there is because he accidentally killed his sister and held up a store at gun point after that he went down hill after he did that. He was so upset with what happened to his sister he could never forgive himself nor Jake but they did make up once he stole Jake's girl.
@WiseWordsbyWiki2 күн бұрын
People are mad at the ex for being upset that their kid saw something traumatizing because "he did a good thing", when apparently the previous times he got roughed up by the cops was due to man slaughter and armed robbery. I'm sorry, if you lose trust from loved ones its on you to earn it back and sometimes excuses, even good ones, are not enough. She has every right to be upset, because she has no reason to expect this to be any different. It's ts great that he is trying to do better, but the custodial parent wondering if the child should be exposed to your growing journey is reasonable.
