PM avoided answering a lot of the questions posed by Pritam Singh and basically just answered by saying "we did something about it". Pritam Singh made a lot of sense when he said Tan Chuan Jin should have stepped down as Speaker first if Marine Parade GRC was a concern. There is no standard for how MPs are dismissed from Parliament - some were made to leave immediately as is in the case of Michael Palmer while others as in the case of Tan Chuan Jin were given 3 years before he is finally dismissed.

Real rich coming from Pritam. If not for the video’s emergence, WP will continuing playing dumb. WP knew, and tried to sweep its corruption under the carpet until it was impossible to hide. Same behaviour with its scandals regarding AHTC, Raesah Khan, and Leon-Nicole. Regarding the latest Leon-Nicole saga, Pritam basically admitted to WP willfully blinding themselves to the possibility of the driver’s information being true. Seriously, the only clarification Pritam did was to ask the accused? And when the accused denied, that was the end of his investigation? What a joke of a ‘investigation’/‘clarification’. It is embarrassing that this is the party whose complaint against PAP is ‘ownself check ownself’. Because PAP evidently conducts far more thorough and competent self-checks than WP. Zero confidence in WP’s integrity to govern Singaporeans.
