Privacy screen protectors are a must have, specially when you work in a environment where everyone one is interested in what you’re doing all the time. Clear is better for visibility purposes, but people don’t know how to mind their business so a privacy one its a must have.

I got one because I’m tired of people snooping over my shoulders. I’m not doing anything shady or wrong it just pisses me off that people have no respect for privacy. It makes girls insecure too. Just sayin. It’s funny whenever I catch people perching over my shoulders and they still cannot see. I can log into my mobile banking app with no worries of lurking eyes.

But it's usually a reduction in image and video quality. Also, when you are in the sun, you can't see anything until you increase your brightness. I'm also using it, but it's draining my phone battery.

Oh how I wished I went and researched first before purchasing one. I went and bought one because I was going overseas. My intention obviously because of privacy so people can’t see what you’re reading or watching on the phone. As well as if you need to do some banking stuff. So anyways i got one, and it was soo dark that it had a hard time picking up my faceID. They had to open two packs before it started. The day later i was up and about sunny day and could hardly see my screen. My battery was draining fast. Also it was bothering my eyes adjusting the screen when i move my phone around. I decided to send it back and just get a normal one. Wish i saw this video. A lot of stuff mentioned here is what i experienced. It annoyed me soo much i couldn’t last a day.

It’s a slight dim. Being out in the sun, yeah it makes it rough, but if you find shade or use your body as shade and can see something slightly dim, you are fine

I’m in my house, lights all on in the room I’m in and my brightness is at 10%, maybe 15%. It’s not that bad and I like the dim of the screen. Easier on the eyes

I don't know about new ones but I saw once a black protector on an iphone when I was in a plane, some lady needed help with wifi password, gave it to me, and the quality looked so bad. You can see "pixels" or at least looks like it. Kind of like with paperlike

I change my phone screen to red and lower brightness to confuse anyone trying to read from my phone. Since there’s no blue or green light, many are not used to looking at it, it’s jarring. And the lack of blue light makes it less obvious I’m looking at my phone due to no reflection. And lowering brightness all the way.

Something I did is I use a waterproof phone case and I use my antispy protector so that way my phone is more durable and the protector lasts longer

@@vonbolden7367 anyone would do it. I don't recommend this type of protective glass, it's still kind of OK inside, but outside, on the street, on the road, in combination with sunglasses... you can't see anything. I will buy the next glass normally.

I just got one today and I hate it. Does anyone see like pixels on their screen after instaling it? It feels like my resolution is so bad and like I see tons of very little dots/pixels on my screen. It hurts eyes and gives bad look when you watch videos or pictures.

Don't know if this is still relevant, but yes, it pixilated because that's the technology of the privacy screen protector, which doesn't allow light to pass through after a certain viewing angle, hence it being "privacy" protector.

I think Your supposed To Disable or *Turn* *OFF* the _AUTO BRIGHT_ & _EYE_ _COMFORT_ FEATURES on your device. Otherwise your screen turns into a black hole for itself & moving the phone into a brighter environment just makes it worse.

Ive tried quite a few brands and the "dark screen thing" has never interfered with much. im just looking for an extremely narrow view point. In the field i work in the screen has always been beneficial. The brand I'm used to running doesn't make privacy anymore

I see a bunch of people who don’t have work phones complaining about why someone would need a privacy screen - been using them since my BlackBerry Bold days, and they come in handy. They are great for typing an email while sitting on a plane. There are some good ones out there.

Not worth it they make it hard to see even head on. If you’re outside with the screen brightness to the max they crack easily. I’ve had my phone for less than a week and it started cracking from the left hand side of the dynamic island all the way downto the middle right half of my phone you’d be better off getting a real good tempered screen protector the privacy ones are not worth it

It is probably that particular one, it’s a bad privacy screen protector as a good one is supposed to turn completely black. It could however be that you haven’t turned it far enough.
