Here's all you need to know; The Institutions make massive amounts of fees on Private Credit. Upfront fees, Management Fees, Incentive Fees with the allure of giving the retail investor access to something only rich folks and Institutions had access to previously. Now you can find these investments at your local bodega. No different than packaging real estate loans before the GFC or CLOs. It's all the same thing. Take a bunch of crap, bundle it up as "diversified", and sell it as low risk. Seen this movie before.
