Next time you’re in Streaky Bay, stay at the Streaky Bay Islands Caravan Park. About 5km out of town but way nice & cheaper than the Discovery park - especially with kids. It has huge water front sites at no extra charge with epic views & it’s only a few years old with ultra modern facilities. Highly recommend!!

We did a 4wd course and out instructor said that people can get into trouble if they don't know what all the various modes do in those things. He had on of them driving around in ever decreasing circles with one of the rear wheels locked to increase turning capability. I sort of thought it looked like a big white dog doing scooters but maybe that is just me. Nice spot over there, must get back soon and make the missus swear when we look like getting bogged. Don't forget to put ya legs down.

Hi Justin and Bec, we where at the cave 3 weeks ago and my wife slipped and fell 4m down onto the rocks exactly where you where standing, fractured eye, broken wrist and fractured pelvis air lifted to Adelaide 7 hour operation. Bloody scary but she is recovering well. Not sure when we can get back home to Perth, long recovery. Take care while travelling don't underestimate the dangers. We watch all your videos. I know you have travelled a bit around SA, have you thought of going in land and see some good spots near Murphy's? Some other places in SA you might like to check out are - Mt Wudinna (little Uluru) 2nd largest monolith in Australia; Polda Rock Recreation Reserve. Pildappa Rock in Minnipa (like wave rock), Gawler Rangers - Organ Pipes and Kolay Mirica Falls. Safe travels.

Hi Justin & Bec. Re Elliston to Streaky Bay. We have been staying at Venus Bay for 40 years, you drove straight past one of the best spots on the Eyre Peninsula coastline, didn’t even drive in for a look! You missed out big time! Huge bay protected from the southerly winds, town faces north over the bay, southern ocean cliffs at rear of the town, awesome cliff top walk around the heads of the bay with dolphins surfing the breakers. Great fishing in the bay with KG whiting, plus garfish, tommy ruffs, squid, silver trevally, flathead, flounder. The jetty is also awesome fishing for tommies, trevally & squid. Swimming from the beach before the foreshore caravan park, beach launching for the tinny. Absolutely awesome! And another spot providing another option is Twin Islands Caravan Park just 3km north of Streaky Bay township, a new park with rave reviews, located on the beach, good sized sites with great amenities.

So you missed Gallipoli Beach where the movie was filmed, about 3 km up the coast from Farm Beach. It’s a nice little spot for a swim or fishing. Keep the vids coming, I’m seeing a lot of places I haven’t been to in years that need a revisit with a swag and fishing gear. 👍

I spotted a car bogged to the belly driving past eely point a few years back , turns out they were over the high tide mark and there was no way the husband and wife and 2 kids were getting their Prado out on their own. Got a few beers and met nice people for the experience !

If you disengage traction control and actually hold the t/t button you will get two lights come up and this shows that traction control is fully disengaged. Much more effective in soft sand

At least some of the sand has come back to the track, I was there in August 2020 and there was no sand left between Eely Point and Black Springs. Took us 2 hours crawling along to get to Black Springs.

Great video we had an awesome time in Streaky. We found a fantastic park about 5 k out of town; Streaky Bay Islands CPark Bus picked us up and took us into town to the pub and returned us later at night. Looking forward to more of your adventures

Mate 17:50 deep frying like this is a big hazard. Only takes a splash of oil on the burner and up she goes in flames. Please do it outside the van or get a proper internal element fryer. My gf destroyed our kitchen and almost burnt the house down not to mention burnt herself doing this exact thing. Just trying to save another disaster 👍

Just a heads up guys, next time through throw a line in just before sunset on the Elliston jetty and bag out on whiting squid salmon trout. If your keen for a snorkel there's crayfish amongst the rock cliffs. Beautiful part of SA. Great vid again guys.

This takes me back to being a kid as I grew up here in Lincoln use to go up to farm beach, Frenchman's and little Douglas all the time during summer holidays. Frenchman's bluff Little Douglas is a good fishing spots, little Douglas have a small Chanel that runs though good fishing, great fun for Kidd's collecting spider crabs and cockles.
