G'DAY Guys, congratulations on another fantastic VLOG thankyou,that Brisket has got me slathering,for hints on getting out of soft sand bog,a week or two on Moretonor Fraser island,when the fish are on,brings out all the tried and proven methods, e.g. using boat anchors buried down also spare wheel buried six feet Under,I've even seen star pickets used in sequence of several each 5 MTRS apart,but you got lucky with a couple of scrawny sand scrub! footage with helmet GoPro helmet cam,well worth utilising further ( especially on mums head,when you push her in,or attempt to?),as always Kindest Regards, Dave McLaughlin Queensland Australia

The kids loved watching this episode of their home town!! We’ve lived here for a long time, and still haven’t gone swimming with the seals; need to get onto it! Showed my hubby the part where Justin cooks the brisket so he can cook them when we do our trip in July! He normally does brisket in the smoker.

Hi Justin, Bec and children as a keen follower of your channel the area you are covering is of particular interest to me. I am from Boston in Lincolnshire. We have a small town called Donington just a few miles down the road where Captain Matthew Flinders originated from. Although I am not too familiar with history I understand that Matthew charted quite a lot of Australias coast in the early days and possibly named some of the areas. Port Lincoln could be named after the City of Lincoln also there is Sleaford and Boston and possibly more Australian towns that have names that probably originated from the UK. Hopefully I will get over to Perth in the near future to see our family in Baldivis and possibly head south to explore this beautiful area.
@Kiwi-Macca3 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't believe the number of places, towns, streets, mountain ranges and more called Flinders! He was the first to circumnavigate all of Australia.

Andrew, you are correct. Port Lincoln and surrounds were named after many areas from Matthew Flinders home area, 10km north is North Shields. We have Sleaford Bay, Boston Bay and Island and numerous other name places. There is also a bronze monument in the front street of Flinders and his cat Trim , I believe it is a copy of the same monument somewhere in Lincolnshire ? Cheers from Port Lincoln. 👍 The monument I mentioned is at Euston Station in England.

Also look at a portable ground anchors great for solo beach travel while towing gives you a spot to winch from tree or no tree there fordable so you should be able to store it easy enough

Awesome job with the winch, Sammy the Seal approved. Another option for the winch is use your boat's sand anchor in the sand for a winch point. Some fantastic national park camps so far, love your work. So sad that the Tuna is not used as a viable business for an Australian company
