Please can we give kudos to the investigative reporting job done here by WOOD TV8 team? Well done. For the victims… I’m so sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately, way too relatable living in Ottawa county… throw a stone and you’ll hit someone with a story like this. Courageous reporting in small “tight-knit” areas that desperately need exposure like this.

What about Hollywood? You don't give anyone a pass just because someone else is also doing something wrong. Should people who covered up child abuse in Hollywood be punished? Absolutely! Does that absolve churches from covering up abuse? Absolutely NOT! Anyone who participates in child abuse, including covering it up, should face consequences. Moral relativism and relative justification have no place in a civil society.
