PRIVATE SWIMMING HOLE Hipcamp NSW Mid North Coast

Well we definitely found the serenity with this Hipcamp property which included our very own deep swimming hole. Surrounded by lush green countryside, along with cows, horses, kangaroos, birds and a swimming hole full of turtles and fish, it was a great place to retreat to for some rest and relation over summer. This Hipcamp is located inland on the Mid North Coast of NSW, which means that there are so many places in the area to explore or not ... just relax and enjoy your own private country campsite.
Close to Bowraville, it's only a 5 minutes drive for supplies and a drink at the historic hotel. There's an IGA, a bakery, a chocolate shop, artisan shop and even a museum.
Definitely worth escaping to the country.

I'm surprised it was that cheap in peak season. I wouldn't be there at that time but im happy to pay 45 a night whatever the time. So much cheaper than a motel and a better environment. Bugger it just enjoy. Thanks guys.

Absolute peak period Ray, we couldn't believe we managed to find an availability and weren't disappointed with what was on offer. It was one of the most relaxed campsites I think we've experienced, due to the heat we just chilled in our own private waterhole. Magic stuff! Cheers Marg

What was the toilet situation please? I used to own a property 80acre called Magic Hill at Copeland nsw, outside of Gloucester. It was magical, with creek and waterfall boardering the national park. Please feel free to look it up. 😊😊😊 Happy travels guys.

Agree about the $ but we only booked at late notice at Xmas/NYE period and jumped at it for the private swimming hole with extreme heat predicted. It truly was such a relaxing experience, the property was beautiful and close to the little historic town of Bowraville. Firewood & delicious brownies were provided, fortunately we are set up with power/solar, an ensuite and plenty of water, so we were happy to spoil ourselves with this holiday treat.

No, didn’t know that, thankfully the farmer had a good size fire pit, so hopefully it would help avoid the cows getting to it. I wonder why they do that? When we were there it was so hot & humid, the cows just wanted to come down for a drink.

Hi David, we agree but at the busiest time of the year and at short notice, we went for it. To have our own private swimming hole during the summer heat and surrounded by stunning lush green countryside, we thought it was worth spoiling ourselves. We are so lucky to live in a beautiful country that offers us choice of where to camp & explore, between the free and the cost sites, I think it balances out. Thanks so much for tuning in. 😊
