“Financial independence is paramount. My mom always says that when a woman is financially independent, she has the ability to live life on her own terms. I think that was the soundest advice that I ever got. No matter where you go in life or who you get married to, you have to be financially independent - whether you use it or not.” Priyanka Chopra

Ms.Indira Nooyi is a corporate icon and is an inspiration to all women out there. Shame on the Forbes lady to keep interrupting her interviewee. Priyanka has also put India on the international map via her mktg/PR/acting skills. Different women but they can 'walk the talk'!
@hirakumarsingh95953 жыл бұрын
Both the icons very forthright about their convictions and priorities of their lives. But what makes Indira Nooyi's success very hard earned is her working on strength which was her compulsion as well___her brains. Few people can use their brains as she has done. To make a team successful is much more difficult than achieving personal milestones. Success in the corporate world is hardest thing to achieve.

Priyanka and Indra are famous, lucky women!_ I admire all those Indian women who did not chase a materialistic life but instead chose to take the role of spouse and motherhood seriously and devoted their entire life to be the best manager at home _ seeing to the extended family, husband, children and make sure that the children did not get lost in an over crowded world filling up with a lot of predators especially on line and in the social scene. Hats off to those villages and towns where life is slow paced and women were content with India

few people dont go against father and brothers despite knowing that patriarchy suppresses them just because they know that their such action might make them feel that they dint give a good upbringing. and just coz they keep mentioning the things they have given you. in this ,i feel, being too much grateful is bad if your liberty is being compromised

"Mummas must stop asking us" for all the kitchen/household stuffs n never to their sons'.. I guess now even guys themselves see..why it is not fair to ask only the lady to look after something i.e house ko hold karne ka kaam households yaa..guys should even know & do it yaa..
