+That Anime Girl My family lives in India and sounds EXACTLY like this. It's the urban accent of many people in India. Also, I have family who has lived more than 4 years (try 30+) in the US and still have their accent. Going to high school here and then moving back to India doesn't make you lose your accent. In Quantico, her American accent is SUPER fake and horrible! Trust me, her accent is not American. :) Now, not all people in India sound like this as there are many regional and state languages, and therefore accents, but there are many urban, (usually convent) educated masses that do. Hope that helps!

+That Anime Girl if youcheck her miss world vompetition where sharukh asks her a question her accent is very thick and indian. she took vocal coach during 2003 and 2004 for the first time to sound classy for a movie with kareena after which kareena skill makes fun of her for taking vocal training. she never had american accent prior to 2003 and priyanka herself says she took more vocal training for her quantico role and hollywood career to play parish convincingly and for america to accept her better as a global actor. can we stop with the accent issue now. she switches to a more indian urban when in bollywood and 1 time even switched to pakistani urban when presenting in awards in pakistan. she does it to fit better in different parts of the world just like madonna does switching between british and american depending on where she is. just be glad she is fixing the age old APU stereotype.

+Dipti R Indians don't sound like that.. I've been to India.. they have more of an appu accent to be honest.. Priyanka's accent was similar to appu's before she came to USA.. she had to mould her accent into more american before starting Quantico.. if you look at her previous interview videos of when she was in India you will understand what I mean.. also Priyanka admitted herself her accent changed due to Quantico.. If you follow her on instagram you will see she has posted an image of her Quantico script with american dialect.. now on the other hand Deepika padukones accent is completely Indian.. completely Appu!!! However in her new Hollywood movie her accent will be 100x different.. i bet ya!
