Someone once berated me for implying that soft and nurturing traits are more natural to women. in this interview she states perfectly that those traits are just another form of strength, and softness or kindness are far from weakness. having those traits does not take away from a woman's tenacity.

See, nurturing and soft traits are not 'weak',and anyone who considers that is ignorant.However,if you assume female naturally have it,then also you assume that males naturally have 'ambitious',or 'assertive'traits.There has been long history of pressuring females to be more 'soft',and males to be 'hard'.What this cultural bias does that,it obstructs individual self-expression, further making females with intrinsic masculine traits feel,less feminine and vice-versa for males.Instead,what we could do is, accept both soft and hard traits within ourselves to be a balanced individual.
