Pro and Cons of Project Cars + Integra New Wheels!

It's always a good day when the 240sx project car is out! How crazy is it to see a A80 MK4 Supra while cruising around?! The Integra Sedan has been making a weird noise in the rear, so we diagnose the issue and install new 3 piece wheels from Japan! The Nissan 300zx ka24de swap has gone long enough with missing interior, time to reinstall! Quick skateboarding session to end the night!

Really love those wheels. Remind me of the Porche 944. My favorite Porche. It reminds me of that cuz I saw a 944 abandoned for sale for 6k. It's still abandoned and it's still rust free from what I was able to see. From what I was told it still in running condition with less than 100k kilometers.

8:25 that guy broke his neck completely backwards when you took off in the Integra 😂 Also rule of thumb if one sides bad the other side is ready to go as well. I always replace maintenance parts together. Especially lighting. If one head light goes out the other more than likely will a month later. Used to make my old shop good money this way 😅 I'd offer buy one headlight get second one half off. But he's always say well the other works I only need one. A month later they'd be back paying full price for a second one.

I’ve had my Integra almost 10 Years and it still has original Oem rear wheel bearings, I was curious how they came off, also for those floor alights on the z maybe wire in some aftermarket led strips 🤔

Just run the dented spot on that wheel facing the inside... nobody will notice... It does suck about it getting dark so early... I get off of work and it's already fully dark out now.... Couple that with the cold, often crappy weather, and winter just sucks all around.

Awesome new vid! some sad news regarding my own project car... i just finished doin the bodywork on the rear.. and a couple days ago someone parked is tow hitch into my car, no note no nothing.. hit and run... well, nothing to do but fix it again, at least i already had plenty of practice with that job, i guess. who ever did the last bearing on the teg didnt tighten the nut down and lock it on the hub. you can see it backed off super far when you pull the wheel off

i have the option right now to buy a "1984 dodge daytona turbo z" its a 2.2L turbo. It looks like if the RX7 FC had a small fender bender and instead of fixing it the designers was like "eh good enough". i guess runs and drives but needs electrical work. which is fine... i just don't have a place to really store it... and i feel like if i put it into my yard it will become a mouse bed. i also don't know a thing about it other then if i can't fix the electrical i'll be swapping in a chevy engine and a haltec ECU+harness. im sure i can still find engine parts and stuff for it. but to what extent.

hey man you motivate me to work on my own integra and i know youre hella experienced with integras. my stock b18 makes a high pitched grinding noise at exactly 4.5k rpms and goes away at around 5k +. do you know what it might be, maybe youve experienced it ?

Could just be from a cheap exhaust, my eBay catback used to do that but my Apexi N1 doesn’t.

@@ClutchInCollective i have a tanabe medallion and a n1 catback. i’ll try running a different system but i think it might be my throw out bearing. it just startled me cause it only happens at a certain rpm range. might pull the trigger for a whole new clutch kit

@@ricekookeryt1176 if it’s a throwout bearing I believe it should go away entirely if you push the clutch in. That’s how it was with my mustang at least. Have you checked the clearancing of your exhaust? And for any leaks?

@@ricekookeryt1176 along the exhaust. Mine used to rattle around because it just barely cleared where it went over the rear axle and whenever I hit a certain rpm it would almost buzz a little. Just repositioned it and adjusted the hangers and it seemed to work. Another issue could be if your exhaust tip touches your bumper
