If you compare the strokes between these two players, you can see Troy Frank has a curve to his practice strokes and his shots. Cory Deuel has a much straighter stroke and a longer bridge, reminiscent of the Filipino players.

It's Buddy Hall. Just because he says he really likes a player and the way he's playing doesn't mean he's over the top. It means a lot for him to say that about a player. If you listened to what he said you might learn something...

We watched Johnny Archer run 13 racks in a row against Efren Reyes until 4 am the year before in Toledo, so damn cool. Race to 13, OVER.

If you knew anything about pool strokes you wouldn't have to ask that question. SOOOOOOOO, compared to Deuel's stroke, Frank's looks a little sloppy. This causes his strike point on the cue ball to be slightly less accurate reducing his quality of play. Any other dumb questions?

5-pack is my best in a tournament. I don't know why you think I could run 11, other than using a red herring. I'll quote myself above and say it was "too good." Ask Buddy Hall what he thinks of a breaking contest. Misses like a recent Bustamante/Pagualayan match can be exciting. Anyway, I like 10 ball better because it is not as much a break contest.

It really makes my stomach turn how slow Troy shoots. I know how Earl Strickland feels. Get up there and shoot the damn ball in. How could he miss that easy 3 ball kick shot too. Really? Psh

I get it now.. Troy Frank beat Buddy Hall. Buddy picks Troy to beat Corey. So then Buddy picks Corey to beat Danny and Danny beats Corey lol. But as much as I love Danny.. I'd probably pick Corey to beat Danny more than Danny to beat Corey. Back then. Especially now. Danny weight cought up to him. Between him being over weight and so dang hyper.. wholey heck that boy is hyper to be do big. Anyway he had a stroke I believe and it took the super powers out of him. Still a strong player but Not like he use to be. Wouldnt stand much of a chance now with Corey. But once you get so good you actually still have a good chance to beat better players. I mean look how good Shane plays..like a machine. Like a Robot. And he dont win all the time it's just not that easy kids. I said it HARD OUT HERE FOR A PIMP..

I don't remember saying anything about him not knowing it. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Fixing it is another thing entirely? Just because you know about a flaw in your stroke doesn't mean you can just not do it anymore. As far as me being stupid, I don't see any typographical errors in my messages, not to mention I know how to capitalize at the beginning of a sentence. Go back to first grade grammar class and learn how to write. By the way, what's with the immature name calling?

It's a fair video, but this commentators aren't my favorite by any means. They spend too much time gushing about the players. That's all well and good, but it's annoying after a while. Focus on the match and where he might head next, not how nice he's been playing.
