Probably not the first shot because the guy mentioned a 5 minute wind but it didn't show in the video that he made that adjustment. So the video was cropped...nice try but a semi custom rifle in this caliber could perform similar if not better.

Could have...but most precision shooters at that distance would dial than hold off. Plus, the size of that target is just too big to brag a hit. I can do similar with my Tikka ctr in 6.5 CMfactory rifle...comparing a $900 to a $10,000 rig I'm just not impressed.

Basically what wasn’t said is the military (I’m a former 8541)....now I’m retired with 8 combat tours between Iraq and Afghanistan and travels to 56 countries... You civvies shoot animals and all....but groupings are not all that important in killing an animal. You toss your rifle around and if it’s a few inches off it still kills the animal; or of you miss, no big deal... In the military world when we have RPK’s and other weapons hitting our convoys at 1,500+ yards....there needs to be a precision bullet that will be able to hit a hajji at 2,000 yards every time on the dime. So that’s something that was needed in the operational area. MARSOC and the SEAL’s already use the Mk13 mod 7 in .300 Winchester Magnum. It’s just not good enough.....SEAL team 2 used the .300 Norma Mag in 2012 and it worked well but still had downfalls in the high altitudes of Afghanistan. Then SEAL team 3 used the .300 Remington Ultra Mag....good but still not good enough. Then with all of the operational insight from these different bullets tested in actual wartime tests....there was a COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) request submitted for a better bullet and rifle. If you want a rifle that lasts longer than your mom and pop fucking hunting gun, you need to have precision. You don’t need a barrel to wear out every 700 rounds...you don’t need an oops moment and then the convoy gets killed because the rifle or bullet didn’t perform. Civvies don’t understand that you need equipment better than what you can find in your local cabelas....!! These targets we shoot are people and they shoot back, they are strapped with bombs, the rifles a US Marine sniper will carry is about 14 pounds. It needs to be rugged and hold up to taking a beating worse than your $100.00 walmart special trunk gun..!! It needs to reach ranges out to 2,000 yards and make a kill on an enemy hajji with precision. With the extreme temperature differences in the mountains the .308 Win falls short, the .300 Win Mag and other rounds fell short... This is what was needed and it will make the sniper community better than before....wish the Marine Corps listener to us eons ago about the M40 rifles... Semper Fi USMC / Retired

lol, the novel you just wrote is pointless. just fyi, the 300 prc was developed with and for socom specifically for engaging people at 2000 yards. and it shows how misinformed you are when you equate a first round hit at 2000 yards with keeping a convoy from being destroyed... by an RPK! hahaha! "1500+" yards with a 7.62x39 shot by an inbred at mine resistant vehicles...... yeah........... hahaha. definitely need something more than a "$100 walmart special trunk gun" (it's truck, btw, not 'trunk') in order to stop that GIGANTIC threat... haha. btw, who are you supposed to be providing security for at 2000+ yards? if you're a sniper and are 2000+ yards from whoever you're working with, you're wrong. you seem pretty attention whorish and dishonest. a friendly psa so your future troll posts aren't so stupid: most of the confirmed kills past a mile have NOT been first round hits. i'll just leave it at that and see if you can apply critical thought.

Don’t be fooled gunwerks is a joke. I have multiple rifles from them and they claim the accuracy but don’t stand behind it or answer the the phone, even after they claim a bad batch of ammo. Do yourself a favor and buy from another builder. Don’t get me wrong they build a nice product but there after the sale service is horrendous
