For some reason on my monitor only this game has a very bright tint and especially during dust storm those dust particles looks pixaleted bugs on screen Everything is maxed out so I am not understanding what is the problem

Reflex seems to be bugged in this game and is affecting the performance pretty badly, especially + boost. If you're on the latest nvidia driver, also try disabling hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling in your windows graphic settings. Disabling it improved the camera stutter I was noticing during gameplay.

Yes reflex on steal more 20% fps on my 4070 and GPU util around 80-90% only

@@zynex977 i have a 2070 super and im running 80fps on medium-high settings. If people are having issues, sound like a you problem for them and dont want to troubleshoot

@TempoMotions my 3070ti does ~80 if everything runs normal (on high). Some places dip to 40, enabling Reflex dumps it further down and it bugs out sometimes and starts stuttering at around 30. And it's a lot of people and a problem with the game.. not troubleshoot issues. None of these are that harmful and have good temporary workarounds but it still needs some updates and fixes.

Have to agree on the DLSS settings. This game can be absolutely beautiful, yes, but it is also a very fast action game in harder fights and having the ability to react based on your reaction speed opposed to system lag is a big decider on if you got hit or dodged into a concentrated bow shot on a small target area. So glad this had a much better PC release than the prior game did. Haven't had any major performance issues at all so far with about 18 hours in.

HZD was the first najor PC port from PlayStation if I recall. It was actually playable at launch, but they definitely improved performance over time and added fearures like dlss. They learned a lot of lessons that they applied to other Playstation ports which released in a much better state. Now PlayStation ports are some of the best released pc games.

@@chadbizeau5997 Aye, I believe you are correct in unless you count FFXV since it started out as a Playstation exclusive before PC too. My first 5 hours of HZD was rough with crashes left and right until the better part of the open world was available. Still crashed once in a while after, but it was no where near as often as the first portion of the game. Always happened with no indication too, just sudden CTD. So far I haven't had any issues with this title. They have learned a lot since then for sure when it comes to PC ports.

Best PC game of the year is subjective and highly variation depending on each individual. Nice sell though. I'm a salesman myself, basic people do fall for this tribalistic categorization approach. Gaming is actually really diverse though so you know when someone tries to sell one game as the best, it is always 100% BS. I remember when people thought Star Wars Galaxies OG was the best ever, and I thought the same for myself, but could completely understand when someone started playing it and thought "this game sucks". For anyone liking the idea of diversity, gaming captures it to the highest level.

@@Mcnooblet um not getting profit out of this so it's not a sales pitch. the game does deliver excellent combat in highest difficulty, absolutely stunning visual & decent storytelling. steam 88% very positive review backs up my claim. so no misleading happening. I never played on console, playing it on pc for 1st time. & the experience a 9 out 10 single player game in my opinion. the game is full of genuinely fun adventures.

@@Mcnooblet It's the best PC game released so far, as a package it's practically flawless. I purchased Horizen along with Dragons Dogma 2 and it's night and day in comparison, in terms of overall quality, gameplay and performance. It will probably be in the top 5 PC games for 2024 along with Ghost of Tsushima providing Nixxes don't drop the ball with the port.

Even after playing on ps5 performance mode, to see this game run at ~100fps maxed out at 4k (dlss quality enabled, no framegen) is something else. No shimmering, everything is clean and sharp and the framerate is butter. Definitely looking forward to my third and probably fourth playthroughs!

I run it at 4k DLAA with frame gen which I'm getting 100fps+ on my 4090. Great experience and everyone can select that which they like best, so I'll agree, great port. DLSS Quality looked artificially sharpened to me personally.

Tips for ppl that played HZD but not this: Traps got nerfed, the trip caster is now useless. It is shorter in length, it takes longer to setup(unless u got the perk n then it cost stam), but the 2 worst things is 1) u can only have 4 max traps until u get the perks n armor later. 2) now most robots notice the traps and avoid them. They avoid tripcaster ropes the most. You can usually get them to walk into one trap then once they are red eyed they will literally stand behind them and in a weird way they kinda act as a barrier tool accept also they now self destruct after like 30 sec. Like they REALLY nerfed tripcating and i loved the min tower defense play in this game. Nope gone The ropegun got nerfed almost as bad as trip casting. You now have to wait about 3 sec while holding draw to shoot it and have it stick in. You can use a perk to use stam to insta do it but u also need another perk to get through armor too. So u can still use it like before u just need 2 perks that take a while to get and stamina potions and 1 hit and they are untied lol. Also blastslings are kinda pointless. They are viable but they dont have as good a perks as bows and now bows can do everything. They basically just made bows elemental weap. Mele only works on humans now. Does no damage to bots. However its really really good mele now so im ok wit it. Oh and tear boast arrows got nerfed a bit too..did i miss anything? Oh yea they nerfed overriding! You can now only overide permantly 1 mount the all overides after that only last like 2 min

Yes these are nerfs, but I would argue that they are for the better as they force you to be more creative with your play style rather than just spamming explosive bombs and traps like was often the best option in hzd. Also I think that trip casters are fully useless at this point, I don't personally use them, but I could definitely see their potential as a strong fight opener

I have rtx 4070 ti i7 13700k 16 gb ddr5 and many game like cyberpunk and horizon runs well on ultra graphics but Some games like elden ring and dead island 2 have fps drops even though you turn off the resolution and graphics as low as possible and turn off v sync, does anyone know what to do?

Dlaa doesn't make your pc do more work, given you arn't cpu bound you gpu is pushing as much work as it can out. Dlaa will result in less work as your gpu is pushing out the same amount of work but your cpu doesn't need to push as many frames. Dlss results in your cpu doing more work as your pushing a higher frame rate.

For high end rig, it's pointless to use DLSS if you already get more than 60fps in this game. I turn both DLSS and reflex off because reflex seems to be buggy in this game and causes some issues with performance.

Big tip: go to Settings and turn head gear off! Armor and costumes are great, headgear are mostly naff!

Biggest protip, her hair is whats making her face look fat. Dont quit, look for armour that covered that hair. If you get a good armor shes actually hot. The red skirmisher armour with jaws on either side make her an absolute cutie. Its a must!
