You have to claim your plug sockets and mark your area! But that’s why I always try and setup prior to them 😎👍🏻

Trying to think of a cowboy related joke :) but great video JP as always. Did the conical roof cause you any issues like echoing/reflections or a dead spot in the centre of the floor. I have done a few weddings in a hotel that as a circular function room. There is a crest on the middle of the dance floor, stand on it while music is playing and it’s sounds so strange. I always make the crowd sit down when is such a tightly enclosed space, let’s everyone see the couple entering, but always get the to stamp their feet, bang the table, clap and shout as loud as they can, creates such an electric atmosphere and sets the energy to the evenings music then.

Luckily no echoing when people were in it, when I was testing setup there was but it seemed with boys in the room that went. No dead spot either, could be as speakers on multi sides? The floor was part wood in the middle and matting around the edge not great for stamping! Had them clapping and cheering though!

Can’t say what a client paid but my day rates I’ve mentioned before, it’s not an issue sharing that info. An all day starts at £1,000 and goes up depending on requirements. 😎👍🏻

Hi jp I have just come across your channel and wanted to ask for some help. I have just got back into djing after a 3 year absence due to covid amd sold my old system. I have put together a sound amd lighting system to get me going amd I have also just ordered the equniox combi metal stand with the black and white cloth screens. My question is I'm not happy with my lighting set up martin scx500 as there old can't get the bulbs and there not very bright what would you recommend lighting wise to get me going with a bit of a wow factory but on a budget???
