Great technique! I’ve watched about 15 Euro hem tutorials and I would like to do yours, but I have 2 questions before I start. First question: In step #3, after unpicking original hem, you don’t say how to sew the hem back on other than matching-up outside seams. Am I correct, you match up the cut edges (the cut edge, not the unpicked hem side), with right sides to right sides, and sew 1/2 seam allowance? Thanks for clarifying!😊

Nice looking hem. I’m wondering if my Juki TL-2010Q could handle those thick seams tho. I think I’ll practice on an old pr of jeans...

I would think so, even my domestic machine can go through denim as long as I have the right needle gauge (as mentioned suggest using a 16 or 18). You may want to go slow by using the hand-wheel to go theough the bulky side seams... and hammering the seams down really does help. If you try all of these tips let me know how it goes!?! Happy sewing and thanks for watching ♥️

Great tutorial! Thanks so much for all your expertise, you’ve made me a better sewist! (Sewist, is that a thing?😂)

Thank you ao much for watching! Apparently "sewist" is a thing in the sewing world - I personally call ourselves "sewers" or "seamtresses" or even "tailors" (even though others will say that seamtress is gender orientated to women), but thought this is what we are calling ourselves these days... cool, why not!?! Haha
