Can also buy a oz puller can find them online it’s a farm jack like this but built into a dolly so you can pull posts out and if have cement bases you can move them around after pulling them out. We have used them for years works pretty good unless you have a mini skid steer 💪

I build fences for a living often I use my root bar and a come along Jack I’ll wrap it around the bottom then hook it to my bar it works pretty good most of the time depending on the ground and the set keep up the videos they teach us youngsters!

You posted a video a few years ago using a farm jack and a jig to remove a 4x4 post. I use that method all the time. I like the chain idea but wonder if the chain will work on a 4x4 instead of having to drill holes for the screws for the jig.

Not too long ago I removed galvanized chain link fence post that was cemented in, I used a pipe wrench, floor jack and a few pieces of wood. The guys building a block wall right next to it couldn't believe it worked.

Done this on chain-link and wood posts that had a fair bit of concrete on them. Probably depends on the ground conditions, depth, etc. but generally speaking in my experience, if there is concrete you're going to have to dig a little of the top out.

It comes up just as easy with concrete in ground. This isnthe only way I pull posts. I then dig out with post hole digger to 24 inches since most wood guys only go 16 to 18 inches down at best
