I have met Daly a couple times and he is one of the most genuine celebrities you will ever meet...if you were walking in the rain with no jacket he would give you his....which is why when you go to a tournament even if he is in last place his crowd would still be as big as Tigers.

I like John Daly because of his flaws and his continued struggle with them. He seems to be at peace with his celebrity. He is comfortable in his own skin. I can't tell you how happy I was when he won The Open.

Its has never ever been called the (British open). Its (The Open Championship) started in 1860 in Scotland. Played for the first time outside Scotland in 1894. British open is an Americanism. As for America having the hardest championship in the world is only your opinion. Makes no sense to call it anything other than what it was named many many years ago.
