I commented but it deleted for some reason...any who...I'm a HUGE Factor fan, I only wish for about 1/3 to 1/2 more portion size, it's just never quite enough to sustain me or my family per meal. BUT with that said I absolutely love their product, it's incredibly tasty for a prepackaged meal delivered by mail and I've only ever had 1 shipment go bad because it was delivered late but they did refund me 100% for that shipment too so there is awesome customer service to go with an outstanding product.

The Ping Eye 2's are one of the best selling clubs of all time. I got mine in around 1983/84. Was fitted at a local course in Phoenix right around the corner from the Ping plant. The course included 3 free lessons with the purchase. Went from a 20 handicapper to under 10 in less than a year! Got to scratch a couple times over the years. Still hit the ball well at 67! Game of a lifetime! Awesome clubs and great video!

Ping Eye 2's are 100% still very good clubs. Forgiving and they feel awesome. They're about a club, club and a half shorter than modern irons. It's not really a disadvantage at all. Honestly, that whole bag was completely playable.

Yeah I had them started with them last year and compared to my taylormade Ti burner 2.0s I usually hit a 8 iron on a par 3 and with the pings it was a 6 iron lol

I have a “back up bag” that I like to use that has Eye2’s 3-PW, Cleveland 588 56°/60°, and some Titleist 945 woods. The shafts are modern tour issued however. They’ve all been CPM’d and PURE’d (just because it’s free for me), along with having a tighter tolerance for weight variance being tour issue

@@jazzyjay4595 yeah man, the only differences in clubs that are a little bit older and modern is new clubs are more forgiving. Older irons are higher lofted so they don't go as far. But those Pings are still great. I have them in my back up bag as well. Sometimes I just use them because they feel way better than my other set, Wilson Staff D9's.

My uncle has a set of Ping Eye 2's that are sequentially numbered, meaning that as you go up in clubs, the serial number goes up by one number. He bought them brand new whenever they came out many decades ago, and they're still great irons/wedges. Those square grooves really allow you to get some crazy control on the ball.

The old Ping Eye irons were awesome.... I grew up using a set of Ping Eye 2 Copper Beryllium Irons 1 iron to Sand Iron with Mizuno TD-1 Pro Original Persimmon Driver and 3 Wood all fitted with Dynamic Gold S400U Shafts. Putter was Wilson 8802 (similar to Phil Mickelsons)... .. Cool Video - but would have been nice to see George Hit a nice old Persimmon Block... They sound awesome..

Ping Eye 2's and their direct rivals from that time, the Tommy Armour 845s are still very very solid, easily attainable, and quite affordable. The wedges looked a bit worn but I would rather have that bag than 90% of the pre packaged sets out there. Great video!

Love the content! I think it would be cool to challenge each other where the winner of a hole has to play the next hole with the old clubs. Toss a tee on the first hole to see who has to start with the old clubs. Just a thought. I am sure you already had it :)
