I just took a dremel and carved out a diagonal line that acts a thumb ledge. Then did the trigger guard undercut, fine sanded and polished it down and it works great.

Know I’m late to comment but I think the ledge being high for a Glock 48 is due to it having a different ergonomic factor than the Sig 365 the ledge was originally designed for

Nice video, it's cool they tried to address an issue with the G48 by making a practical gas pedal that attaches to the tlr 7. Because the gun is too snappy for my tastes, which is why I wont purchase one. I wish glock would just add a ledge to the g48 frame and refresh this model or at least find a way to reduce the felt recoil a bit to where it feels more like glock 19.

I have a question. But first, you make a strong case for a Pro Ledge that once mounted rides should ride a little lower. I examined where I currently place my support hand thumb, and it is lower than where it will be with the ccurrent Pro Ledge design. My question is, what is the material of the Pro Ledge...aluminum or polymer? If polymer, do you think material could be removed and then the surface stipple for traction? Realizing that by removing some material mens the ledge would also be slightly narrower, perhaps enough material would remain to still have a ledge to ride your support hand thumb upon? I am seriously interested in this addon for my Glock 43x.

It's polymer. You can probably remove some material, but I'd be worried that it might be too thin to be useful. You'd just have to be very careful not to over sand it.

Looks great though, and now that the foundation for a good design is set hopefully new designs are made to enhand this new thumb rest experience with these newish slim line models

Thanks so much for this video. This will really help recoil! Question, is that the EPS carry? If it is can the back up iron sighs be regular hight since the EPS carry may be a little lower? Do you still recommend the taller back up sights?

I believe standard height might be just short. I'm using suppressor height sights. I always recommend having backup when running a red dot.
