Me and Ashley went to college together and pursued the same degree at a small private university - so I had the privilege of spending time with her both in and out of the classroom, and I want to just say that she really is a sweet and caring woman. It's not every day I would choose to go see a movie that I know would make me cry. Even before seeing this, I made it clear that if I got a girl pregnant (the plan is for after marriage and when we know we have enough to take care of a family) but if there was a slip up, I'd never encourage an abortion. I would be there as a husband and a father. These people who are so ready to tell a baby, "You do not have the right to live," who do not hesitate to attack women and male pro-lifers in the streets, these people could never understand how life is a gift. How each breath of air, how each beat of a heart, is not to be taken for granted. Who are we to tell someone, "You do not have the right to be born," when we could have been in such a position ourselves? It takes a heartless monster to murder a child, inside or outside the womb. People can attack movies like this for the acting or the story direction but it should not be attacked for its subject matter. Abortion is not pleasant and people are in denial if they think the baby cannot feel anything when in the womb. Unless someone has actually seen an abortion through the womb like Abby has, people should think twice before saying that abortion is right. Just like there are TV episodes out there that show people having abortions and those episodes get praised for its honesty, movies like this towards pro-life should do the same thing. I found out when I was in my mid 20's that my mom tried to abort me. She had previously aborted several babies, but then had my sisters and brother. When she got preggo with me she didn't want to keep me because she said she was too broke to "pop out another". She never went to a clinic. My gramma told me she tried a bleach douche 2 times and that didn't work. Months later my dad told me she was drinking and had done a small amount of coke and was emotionally crazy, screaming and stuff and had put my dads pistol to her stomach and pulled the trigger. My dad said thank God he didn't keep his gun loaded and hid his ammo because my mom is crazy. After I was born I ended up actually being my moms "favorite" kid. She called me her little angel, something she never said to my siblings. Yes she picks favorites, as wrong as it is. Later on my big brother became her favorite because he's a successful ex football player and super talented tattoo artist and painter who currently owns a tattoo shop and I'm in politics and a conservative activist who has held massive anti-abortion rallies and events so I'm no longer the favorite. Wow, I don’t watch TV but I’m shocked that Fox News is highlighting this movie. Abby Johnson is a fiery woman on the forefront of the Pro-Life movement. I can’t wait to see this movie. Abby will certainly give the new PP president a run for her money. We need to be praying for the lives of the unborn!
