They established from the beginning that they would live out their words in saying they trust their Creator in every single aspect because He is sovereign over all. Yes. Did we ever lack anything? Never once. God cares for His children and He never gives more than one can handle.. without His help. We now live in an upper class, safe, gated community. My say in this is abortion should be discussed in schools and demonstrated how it is done. Growing up I was all about pro choice I had no idea that abortion was high risk for women and so inhumane by eliminating another little human being apart. No idea! and I wish I was better educated then. There are so many young girls and women that have no idea about how abortion is done because it is something I guess that shouldn't be discussed according to our society but it should.
@Mr.BluePants5 жыл бұрын
They could discuss it in sex ed. classes. Although they'd have to be careful how to approach it as to not traumatize kids with the explanation. XD Dr Levatino gives a pretty gruesome explanation of what abortions are like from his personal experience doing over a thousand abortions, specially the 3rd trimester ones... That description is what's needed, but I'm sure it could mess most kids up. Needless to say he ended up quitting and is now a pro-life advocate.

His testimony and description is heartbreaking but necessary. He'd apparently found himself in this situation before and the media told him and this previous gf how to handle it- so they did. It's SO incredibly sad. Please, don't blame _him._ Blame those that are LYING to the masses about the many moral complexities and blatant atrocities associated with abortion. @@CoopertheTrooper-xx2rq, along the same lines of my previous comment to the OP, I encourage you not to blame men for women's inadequacies. The man in her life was NO different than she in regards to their thinking. They _both_ were subjected to the EXACT same hype. And She didn't stand up for her unborn babies any more than he did. Ultimately, SHE made the decision to abort. Do NOT play "victim" whenever it suits you. She had EVERY BIT as much to do with getting pregnant as he did. Twice, mind you. And she had EVERY BIT as much to do with murdering the baby as he did. Twice, mind you. By her own account, she then went on to marry this guy. They _both_ are accountable for their decisions. End of story. That being said, the influence of mass media _CANNOT_ be overstated. We no longer pass knowledge and understanding down to our boys and our girls, we let _media_ do it for us. Media defines what is happening in society, how we're interacting, what is important, what is "cool", what is not cool. Society is like a dog on a leash, being led around wherever mainstream media yanks us. It's time to Stand Up for our beliefs. It's time to DEFINE those beliefs. I've been saying for a long time that the narrative needs to change. i live in Las Vegas and sex is shoved into everyone faces but no where do i see "hey sex is also designed for procreation, so if your birth control method fails, you will become pregnant" it's ridiculous. PP needs to explain these procedure and EXACTLY what they do. no sugarcoating, i mean their website calls a fetus "pregnancy tissue". That's exactly right. Because single women, women who have abusive partners, chronic health conditions, they live in poverty, have mental health issues or are studying can see abortions as their only option. What needs to happen is the appropriate counselling, government support, support from colleges and work places and support from health providers. These resources are only readily available to the wealthy/privileged.

All of those issues are happening right now because of overpopulation. Look at China with all the smog. Look at Africa and India? India has a terrible povery rate, people are sick and getting infested with bugs, and the country is filthy and messy. Africa has food shortages and water shortages, they are having droughts because all the crops have been harvested in massive scale. All because of overpopulation. Amazing speech. Incredible how God is using Abby Johnson to change minds, hearts, & our culture through her testimony & story. The best way to fight the culture of abortion starts in the home, raising your children on Biblical principals of purity & not expecting them to fail but challenging them to defy what is happening in the culture around them & to live up to God’s standards, not the world’s. The family unit will always be the building blocks of society. Principals taught at home from early on will always have the biggest impact. (I say this as a mother living this out, grateful the Bible gives us a model to follow. It CAN be done in today’s world.)
@corachristel5 жыл бұрын
I agree! I'm only 18, but I've wanted to be a mother ever since I can remember. If it is God's plan for me, I want to have at least three kids, stay at home with them, and homeschool them so I can teach them about God and His ways. I have loads of sympathy for every woman who is wanting/getting an abortion, and I pray all the time that they would find God, but at the same time I've noticed that their reasoning is always man-based: it's what I want, it's what I need, I can't manage, I can't afford, I can't take care of, or just flat out I don't want to. Once you take God out of the picture, sex becomes a hobby that you can and should be able to do whenever and with whomever you want and children become a burden and obligation rather than a miracle with purpose. God commanded man--before sin entered the world--to be fruitful and multiply. So it is against God's will to not let your body run it's natural course. If God wants you to not have children, He won't let you conceive. It's as simple as that. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

@@noellec5683 Oh it's not, they only care about the money they're getting by performing those abortions. And recently they even tried to pass or actually passed a bill (not sure) in Virginia that would essentially legalize "post-birth abortions"... They'd be able to keep the baby alive after he/she is born for up to 1 or 2 weeks "keep them comfortable" and then the doctors and mother would make a decision as to whether or not they'd kill the child... It's some fucked up shit. The governor of Virginia was endorsing that bill. Alex Jones gave one of his usual conspiracy theory crazy rants about this on Joe Rogan. I tend to take what Alex Jones says with a pinch of salt, 'cause y'know, he's the guy from the "chemicals in the water that turn the freakin' frogs gay" and "there's a breakaway civilization of powerful people who worship interdimensional demons" XD. However, what he said this time really doesn't seem that far-fetched if you really think about what goes on in our world today right behind our noses. Alex Jones essentially said they wanted to pass this "post-birth abortion" bill so they could legally take unwanted babies for organ harvesting, etc. Honestly, in a world where we still have drug/weapon trafficking at full force and also human trafficking as a reality, alongside a lot of murderers, rapists and crazy people out there, it's not super far-fetched that some groups of people would want and would profit A LOT from legalizing that bill and having their lives become much easier when it comes to trafficking children and babies. The vast majority of people aren't in contact with this kind of sad reality apart from what we occasionally watch on the news, so at first might disregard this as another conspiracy theory, but I'm sure a lot of law officers and people who work on the field every day to stop these types of crimes would instantly agree that this bill is nefarious at its core.

@@Mr.BluePants well that's unsettling, i know it's just a conspiracy theory but just the very thought. These people know what they're doing and they know that abortion kills so to them if a baby was going to die in the womb then what's the difference if that baby is outside of the womb. It's insane. Location has always made the difference between abortion and murder (because somehow one breathe of air gives someone rights) and now we see that location no longer matters because you can legally kill an unwanted infant. i thought abortions were suppose to "prevent infanticide" *eye roll* and they went from "legal, safe and rare" to "legal, questionable, and 50%-of-PPs-profits" . She looked at me like I was insane & then proceeded to harass me for 10 mins about how it would be a good idea... Since the age of 18 I've taken 4 different kinds of birth control pills with terrible side effects & I've also had an IUD which made me lose my period completely. After having the IUD for a few years I started getting incredibly painful cramps in my uterus so I had it removed. After it was taken out it took me THREE FULL YEARS to get a normal cycle again. I'm honestly so tired of hearing the public say how beneficial hormonal birth control is for women & I'm fed up with medical "professionals" pushing it on young girls. All I've got to say is... do your research & don't trust everything a doctor tells you.

It's causing famines, draughts, overcrowding, mass imigration, animal extinction, deforestation and is also a risking cause for climate change (Which you guys probably don't believe in). When the population will rise we are pretty my screwed. And these are facts and truth by the way, which you guys worship so much. If we educate about conception and contraception and consent and bring awareness about the consequences of overpopulation we can help the population decrease which will save ourselves and the planet and make things way more easier for us. Originally, Planned Parenthood used to be the American Birth Control League as the founder Margret Sanger never intended her clinic to offer abortion services. Back in the 1920s, birth control was illegal and she fought for the rights of married couples to have access to birth control, as she has witness women who had committed abortions on them selves, causing many death among them selves. It was during the time of the depressions and women could no longer afford to have any more children. As a nurse, she worked with a doctor to help women who commited abortions on them selves. That is what she started the American Birth Control League. But sadly many christians hate her for promoting birth control.

Finally someone talking about natural birth control!! Planned Parenthood's business model, to be in schools by 1st grade, to break down children's natural modesty, surely coincides with lgbtq and drag queen story hour. In the return to traditional values, its also important to be mindful that shaming will not work. Shaming certainly in my generation, caused many turned their backs on religion. Teenagers know right from wrong. Educators just need to tell the truth about abortion. Most teens when they see the horrific reality turn their backs on it. I don't agree that fertility is treated as a disease in the USA. I'd say the pill is definitely pushed and pushed on teen girls though. Ironically, in England, self worth and ambition is sort of treated as a disease needing to be cured. It is single women, not married are often shamed for not ever having children. The father 50% of the equation sadly does not seem to matter. And guess what, even with all the help and assistance for single mothers (not all of which is bad), in the uk, there are still many using abortion as birth control. Overall good talk.

mourningwarbler nexplanon is an iud that’s implanted. I had issues with irregular periods since I was 16 and was immediately put on birth control but didn’t religiously take it so I went to depot and then eventually decided on an IUD bc it was long term and chances were good that I wouldn’t have any periods so I jumped in on that. I haven’t had a period in probably over 2 years which again is nice. But I do want to have children someday and it does worry me that these hormones have made me infertile since I haven’t had a period in so long. Every time I’ve gone in to gynecologist they’ve said I’m healthy but I really won’t know until I decide to have children if I will have issues and that really scares me.

After having my second child (I only have two) my doctor kept trying to convince me to get fixed I didn't understand. I was only 23 and I didn't plan on having anymore but I wanted the option just in case I changed my mind. Then after having her I went to my first post apt and they asked me what birth control I wanted and I said "none". ( At this point in my life I wasn't religious I knew I wasn't capable of remembering to take a pill every day nor did I want a constant unessisary medicine in my body.) Anyways after saying I didn't want birth control they looked at me like I was stupid/crazy. Then the doctor said but your going to use condoms right?! I said "yes" and they said "oh good." I was so offended, did they really think I didn't know how to not get pregnant with in the next 6 months? Even without condoms, what if that was part of my belief? I can say to this day I have never not once taken birth control I'm 30. I only have two children and im very fertile the two times that I didn't use a condom is the two times I got pregnant. I wish doctors would stop trying to push birth control pills on patients and instead give them all the facts and let them make the best decision instead of the popular one.

I never used hormonal or chemical birth control in my childbearing years. Having had a Christian spiritual experience in my teens, I chose to abstain from sex until marriage. When I married at age 25, my husband and I decided to stick with barrier methods of birth control as the safest and most moral method. I didn't know about NFP but I'm sure we would have tried it if we had known. I would not use IUDs because I felt that they were too close to the point of pregnancy happening, which made me uncomfortable. At different times we used condoms, Diaphragm, and (the most frequent) contraceptive sponges. These methods worked very well, but the few times when we skipped them "just this once", I found myself pregnant. There was no question that we would have the baby. If a couple tries the different methods of NFP and find that they do not work for them, I think that barrier methods are the way to go; much healthier and more moral than other options. But I believe that NFP is the best way. If only we had known.

I am pro-life and pro-contraception. We live in a day and scientific age where there are many new different forms of birth control aside from the pill. I've gone through many over 10 years and have found that because my body naturally does not make enough estrogen, I NEED the pill with the highest estrogen content. I take full responsibility by having a daily reminder on my phone to take it. I fully understand the ramifications that by missing one day, could put me at risk of getting pregnant. But on the flip side, I am in a loving and stable relationship where my husband and I want more kids, so if it did fail, I won't be upset. Women need to understand that birth control affects every women differently. We need to have more open discussions with our OBGYN's about trying different kinds and listening to our bodies. I understand the argument about the chemical and hormonal contents regarding birth control. But it's all on an individual case by case basis. But we need to focus on prepping women (and MEN) about sex and practicing safe healthy sex. A better foundation and education about sex as a culture will help us in the long run.
@conchita12575 жыл бұрын
Birth control creates a social mind set of wanted versus unwanted pregnancies, where these last ones can be "stopped". That is why NFP is better, as the woman is free from hormonal damage, that first, but also because a surprise pregnancy comes after certain days used in the relationship, so it is predicted. Apart from the fact that it forces dialogue, thus matures relationship.

The problem isn't the existence of birth control per-se. The problem is that we're telling women that if they take these pills it'll prevent them from getting pregnant. But that's not true. Most women who rely on the pill will get pregnant at some point. *That* is what we have to tell women. Birth control does not prevent pregnancy, it just makes it less likely. You should *never* be having sex with someone you would not have a baby with, because eventually, you will get pregnant. Period.

I don't think that the issue that we aren't telling women, I think the issue is women just assuming because they haven't gotten pregnant yet on BC there's no chance, when that's not the reality of how BC works.
