How are the shocks working out for you now? I have some on the way and can't wait to bolt them on! I have a customized Yeti Score trophy truck and did some modifications to allow the front A-arms to droop more and I made a custom front shock mount so I can use my stock rear shocks on the front now! :)
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
Nice! I did the same for the front of my Yeti, now running Powerstroke tears on the front. The rear XT shock is great - the only issue so far has been the length of the spring is so long that it rubs on the shock body. Not a big deal, since these are WAY better than anything stock axial
@jamanepitcher85224 жыл бұрын
Will these shocks also work on the 1/10 scale rock rey

another awesome video rich I have the Thunder Tiger E MTA and it has the lay down shocks they come out with a Thunder Tiger E MTA G2 and it's pretty much the same truck but it has up and down shocks 8 of them I'm thinking about converting that I'm not sure decisions decisions always good to see your videos which I hope 2016 is good bro it looks like you're getting off to a really good start have a good one man

DJ REED you can exchange pivot balls with the stock shocks or simply file the Pro-alone versions down. The XT shocks were meant for the Axial Yeti is why this is happening.

Will these fit the yeti xl as a good model shop here in the U.K. Is saying it will.

Nope...XL shocks are somewhat unique and not that bad as a stock shock - check out the HR upgrade kit for them (non-piggyback) - it's a great compromise

hello how do use the protek rc premier blue on pro line power stroke xt shocks ?
@TheRCNetwork4 жыл бұрын
O ring grease goes inside the cartridge of the shock where the o-rings/X-rings are. Once you remove the spring perch and spring, remove the bottom eyelet and then the bottom cap - apply a generous amount of green slime inside the cartridge

The model number you referenced is for the ProSpec line of shocks, which are a larger diameter shock body. They will not fit the PowerStroke XT shocks or any PowerStroke. PowerStroke shocks are a smaller diameter vs ProSpec.

+Joe Conti If you dis-assemble a shock end, do you have additional flex to make the XT's work? You'll notice a huge dampening advantage on the Pro-Line's
@JCRC8 жыл бұрын
The RCNetwork i am using 110mm on BlueMonkey lower arms .. the ones where the shock mounts on the arm rather than on the shock mounting point on the axle, just like the Yeti is. With the 110mm + droop kit I have I have plenty of travel, I like my Wraith low to the ground. If need be I'll use a bit more power to "slide" over something rather than roll over from the extra height. I was thinking os some more travel with the longer shocks :)
@matthewhoffer37038 жыл бұрын
are this able go on 1/8 yeti xl or just yeti 1/10
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын

Almost all videos about Axial vehicles sound like they are bad vehicles out of the box. So why bother spending hundrets of dollars on a bad plattform, when you can buy a much better plattform like the Rock Rey and then improve it even further?
@TheRCNetwork7 жыл бұрын
Most RTR's from Axial are great out of the box with stock electrics. It's when people start dropping in big power, and adding weight when items become an issue. As for the Losi Rock Rey....It's not all bells and whistles. It needs several things to make it work decent on stock electrics - and that's IF you can find parts....stock diff gears (bevel and pinion) have been out of stock since May 2017 till September 2017....

@TheRCNetwork4 жыл бұрын
The Powerstroke Xt shocks should work on all four corners of the SMT10 and should bolt into those AXI31433's fine. For the upper mount, you may have to get creative for the offset of the shock on the cap if the stock hardware doesn't work
