Pro Midi (App) Demo

Pro Midi is a very recently released MIDI sequencer, as well as a fully featured editor, recorder, and clip/scene launcher. The app provides options for importing and exporting your own MIDI clips via iTunes, using different time signatures, and up to 16 channels/tracks to set your clips across.
One feature not shown I discovered just after making this video, is when you click on the "Velocity" tab (as seen around 10:40), you can then tap on the panel's label to open up more settings such as program changes and envelope automation. Loads more features available to you there, and I'm sorry I missed it. There's no documentation for this yet and its very new, so if you have any discoveries of your own, please share them here! All in a all though, a really cool, very capable, and very powerful app for anyone interested in MIDI on iOS.

Thanks for the thorough walkthrough. I've been looking for an iPad midi sequencer to control outboard midi gear, and I have to say that this looks very clean and intuitive. Other ones I'm considering are Auxy and Genome.

Can you record midi? I use audio share to record my SH-01A's audio, I wondering if I could record its midi from internal sequencer with my interface that has midi in, into this app so I have the midi to continue working on in my daw

Definitely a much smaller footprint, 2.2 mb according to the usage/storage settings.

Agree, not beeing able to toggle the select tool, makes apps extremely cumbersome to use. Unless they implement that, it is not a good midi editing app at all.

Got the app. It is basically unfinished. It lack even rudimentary keyboard in support. Promised function in an upgrade well we all know how that usually works. Best save your $9 on this piece of junk

Redvardo - all this was fixed and added new features as promised in new version. So no need to bla, bla here.
