Go to your settings, controls, then to echo specifically. Change ‘hold for flight ‘ or whatever it’s called to off.

I love Echo so much. I never was a DPS player for the first 5 years of OW1 but I started playing her a year ago in death match then qp then comp. I may not have great aim but projectiles are a lot easier

Why in your clips do you just spray your stickys into nothing, knowing you’ll probably just hit one or two. Shouldn’t you hold the cd and try to assassinate as you said yourself? Echo can’t kill anyone without the stickys

It’s not my gameplay, but the OWL pros 👀 But he’s just going for early ult charge before he can commit to a proper assassination. So it’s okay to use it before it’s likely you could secure a kill

the only dps i ever want to swap to is bastion. like i fly as high as i can, pick bastion and transform on my way down, otherwise only tanks and healers sometimes.

Play echo when you see someone trying to learn widow in quick play. The trick is to not let them learn how to play her at all.

I wish you had a better explanation on the ult. I’m Diamond right now with echo feeling great about her kit other than her ult. Like sure it’s an extra life and can be techy maybe you can copy Moira to help survive or a tank to be threatening or just a dps to get kills. But I’m already a dps and why not just pick THAT dps all together. I’ll get value out of her ult a lot but it seems more of like a BM or survival thing rather than a game changer. Like some of the other ones.

@@Dunmuir I get to copy strong hero’s it’s just like playing echo in a echo spot and copying someone that now isn’t in a normal/good position then getting melted because I’m not in a good spot for that hero. I dunno most dps heros I position for my ult and preform it after watching certain cool downs or before they use those cool downs. Just not as consistent it feels. Is that normal? I’ll get better with practice? I’m Diamond with her now, figured I’d make a masters run with her but her ult is the most inconsistent part of her kit for me.

Might be in the video since I haven’t finished it yet but I wanna ask before I forget. Can echo gain extra health past 300 after transforming if she uses an ability that grants it? For example sigmas kinetic grasp. If echo copies sigma and then uses kinetic grasp can she go past 300?

Sensitivity should just be the same as you’re used to. For reticle try a crosshair with a center gap of about 60ish. Binds don’t super matter, but make sure you have the hold to fly setting on. That setting allows you to just use the dash without the free fly portion and can give you huge momentum into a glide, and will grant you your cool-down 4 seconds sooner, than if you went through the whole flight. I’ll add that if you hold down your jump key, when you tap the fly button, you’ll gain massive height and distance, and will immediately begin your glide with full momentum. Use that tech cautiously though, sometimes going high up is a bad play, and dashing without holding jump offers a bit more control.

Jump: L1 Ascend: L2 Primary Fire: The same Volley: R1 Beam: L3 Sorry I don't remember the buttons for the other consoles but I hope it makes some sort of sense to you. But I've tried it out and it's definitely improved for me.

I love everything about echo but I absolutely hate her ultimate. It's gimmicky and you almost never get the full value of the ultimate of who your copying. It's charge rate is awful and takes forever and if you mess it up your hurting your team significantly. It's super limited on who you can viably copy. I would much prefer to have it replaced all together. I hate it.
