6:19 You can actually have a better damage combo. Because of the delay from using your sticky bombs to shooting your beam, you can actually get one primary shot in between with an animation cancel. Thus, making the combo primary-sticky bombs-primary-beam.

Echo tip: Lucios ultimate stacks so if you have a lucio on your team and on the enemy team you can coordinate the ult to give your teamates 2,000 Hp

Quick tip for console players: for characters like echo or pharah, consider rebinding your jump to a bumper. This makes it so you can hold jump to fly and shoot while still being able to use your right stick.

In regardless to the Doomfist Echo comparison I don’t actually feel it. I’m mid Diamond and have never been a good Doomfist but after trying Echo I’ve felt her very smooth and have used her pretty well but that’s just my experience.

Maybe not mechanically. She has similar times of when and how you will want to engage in a fight. Both her and doom can take an angle not to flank and poke, but to pounce and get out. Her flight when used as a retreat is similar to dooms retreat, and she has similar "get one kill and get out" mentality. I would say doom has a greater pick potential, but has little to no poke, where echo has less than dooms, but can poke from afar.

The huge similarity for me is punishing positioning. Doom and Echo are so good at getting kills the instant when positioning breaks or when a hero is vulnerable.

bro i promise you can be a good doom fist if you can play echo. both heroes are designed around cool down management and insta kill potential, but at the cost of extreme vulnerability when you miss your cool downs are misuse. the primary fire aims about the same too, except echo has better range and more bullets. they arent entirely the same but the fundamentals certainly are

He's not really saying that they are the same, just that they fill the same role. They zip around punishing poor positioning and fragging down enemies with their combos(slam+uppercut or stickies and focus beam).

Maybe another tip, echo‘s ult disables hero selection for enemies, so on 2 cp maps like Anubis,Volskaya save your ult until after getting a pick, stops the enemy from stalling forever, works like a charm 👌🏻

Another tip you didn't mention, is if you are close to dying you can just dupe into another hero. Get max HP, and if you die again you will have full HP for a second time. So like three lives. Good for stall as well.

Couple things with this video 1. I have learned from personal experience not to use the beam until you know they are for sure under %50 health just because it is extremely easy to out heal the 50 dps rather than 200. So what will happen is people will use their beam right after they shoot out the bombs and the player will get healed before they’re health gets below %50 so now you’ve wasted your beam and possibly gotten yourself killed. 2. Now im not 100% about this one but a lot of pros have been saying TO play her like genji where this video says the opposite Other than that great tips

Echo started growing on me, at first I couldn't even get 12 kills with her. But after a bit more practice, I was able to get into the 50's. That was without knowing these tips. And with knowing these, I can definitely do a lot better after a bit more practice.

A good tip for console is to switch your jump button to the Left Bumper (L2, LB) and your bomb to the previous default one ( X, A) so you have your thumb free to aim while gliding

You can also animation cancel primary fire into beam which kinda makes a new combo with bombs to primary fire cancel beam :P (for those who don’t know: after your shoot your bombs hold your primary fire button and beam at the same time and it shreds the enemy

About Tip Number 15, a lot of Reins are already figuring out that they should drop shield when an Echo is lasering it. Even in Quick Play at a Plat level, I'm noticing that Reins are consistently dropping their shields when I use beam on it, opting to face tank the 50 DPS rather than let the beam totally destroy their shield.

If he drops shield that should be your teams cue to focus him down and kill him or at least make him back off. Alternatively, if you have a sniper hero as the other dps, they can use that opportunity to pick off squishy healers or dps that would normally be hiding behind the shield.

i think another thing about cloning tanks is you create a temporary triple tank comp...which in the right scenarios, can basically stomp teams that aren't able to counter such strats in 15 seconds...and of course, stealing beat drop, in a grav is worth it too also thanks so much for the doomfist comparason. ive been struggling to put my finger on what makes me good with her at times, and feeding on her at other times...and now that i imagine how doom plays it makes perfect sense

(Correct me If you think I’m wrong) I‘m a low diamond player and i think that a few tips can be changed for lower rankes. If you play on lower ranks you can flank because everyone is out of position. These targets are a free kill. Low ranked players won’t know what to do (they won’t play in a team that protects each other).

Recommended combos for console players!~ ~flight first, lightbeam (cancel at a certain point depending on your enemy) , then the sticky bombs for ultimate destruction. - shoot twice, bombs, then fly away for a quick kill.

Tech I found out with echo you can get a drastically higher vertical and horizontal speed/height how to achieve it is by aiming at an object (Similarly to Doomfist) fly-shift or lb I believe on console at certain object such as fences ledge jump “doom tech” an mainly any others capable with doom you can also do the same with just canceling it but theirs no real reason instead of keeping the extra flight but change as you’d like.

Ok so this is an unlikely combo but this is good when the enemies don't know that your behind their team where you can quick melee into all of your bombs. This will kill any 200 hp hero. You can also shoot, beam, quick melee and then the enemy will most likely die. Also use flight's quick intitial dash to dodge attacks since it's kinda like a tracer blink. To get the quick initial dash you can either turn on hold to flight and just tap your flight button or just tap your flight button twice in quick succession. Since duplication gives you basically another life and refills your hp to max you can use duplicate to safe your life if you dive too deep or you get focused down (this is especially strong if you pick a mobile tank like d.va or Winston). Okay so that's everything that I have figured out about Echo. So I hope some of this helps even further.

One thing I will say is that echo is a flanker to a degree she is inbetween a team player and an assassination style character usually you can use the initial burst of her flight to preemptively fire a volley of bombs and quick cancel into beam then use your glide momentum to retreat to high ground or back to your team. Also out of ult targets doomfist and tracer are the strongest they can usually pull of two ults possibly 3 with tracer. I would 100% ignore swapping to Hanson or widow unless you really trust your hitscan gameplay. And I would have to disagree Dva is a great ukt target tons of pressure and get out of jail free cards and her ult is easy to build.
