I have not seen one anti-AIPAC sign at any of these protests. AIPAC is a lobby group that has more money than all other lobbies in the US put together. AIPAC is dedicated to support anything Israel wants. If a politician comes out against *anything* Israel is doing, AIPAC will take it's money and support that politician's opponent. these protests are on college campuses. They are students demanding that their own colleges divest, not the USA. AIPAC has to do with govt, not the $ of the universities they are attending. But yes, you are right about AIPAC and its influence. Netanyahu claims that Israel DOES NOT interfere with other countries, govt, policies, yet AIPAC was recently running ads boasting about its influence on US govt, elections and policies.

Remote classes aren’t so bad. I’ve taken many classes online. In some cases they are better than in person. The only advantage to in person classes would be social contact with peers. So in that regard, the protesters are causing minimal disruption.
