It's not their beliefs that are the problem. They can believe whatever the hell they want. The issue, as a student of UM myself, is that this is during classes. In a building where there are classes happening. I have two classes in University Hall. If they want to believe they are in the right, so be it. I disagree with them. I disagree with the Israel protests too. It's a complex issue that is really not being aided by the mentality that one side is fully right and the other is wrong. I just don't want to have to go through this to get to my classes. Most of those people were not even students. Or faculty. They were there because it was a bigger news if it happened at the university. They were an annoyance, not a protest.
